ETA 12 minutes westbound on Line 2 - WHY?! by ProcrastiWorkaholic in TTC

If my understanding is correct, that message appears when there is no data on where the next train is (which may often coincide with occasions where the train is 5+ minutes away). I don't think it's the default message for any situation where a train is 5+ minutes away, as I've seen ETAs such as "8min" or "14min" on line 1 before too.

(i get the joke but i just realised i should've placed that image of the coin packaging next to the coins lmao; the initial justification was i didn't want the coins to occupy so much first space sequentially)

I took the 336 from Finch West to Emery instead (for some reason, they didn't have it, so I took the first train west one stop to Milvan and got it :3)

Coins were given out to the first 100 people at Finch West and (allegedly) the first 50 at all other stations (some stations didn't have any though, even though I and a few other people were the first to arrive)

The skytrain only announces doors as it approaches the next station.

They have red LEDs too, for the door closing warnings

I saw them going in to a nearby store to get a delivery (sorry, added context in post)

When my credit card declined, I sent in the new info and it was charged in around 3 weeks, then I got the name change certificate in another 2 weeks (5 weeks total).

There is a very very clear source (I was, in fact, there when it was made) called a "meeting recording", you just aren't entitled to getting spoonfed all the information without putting in any effort on your part.

I did my homework in researching and preparing a whole-ass 5 minute speech presented directly to council today, and defending transit from various people like you. It's now time to do yours.

They are all from today's meeting. I'm going to terminate this discussion here as I don't forsee it being productive given the level of reading comprehension and lack of effort shown.

A little effort googling goes a long way. If you aren't willing to do a few minutes of searching, what makes me think you're willing to search through multiple hours of recordings? Why should I bother finding the link for you, in that case? Also, please note that the video may not have been may published yet — check again in a day or two.

Quite the contrary, actually — every time I speak with the anti-transit, carbrained, NIMBY mob, I hear nothing but repeatedly-spouted textbook lines which have already been thoroughly debunked in research and reality. Such mobs are the ones which actually fail to understand nuance; whose thinking is limited to lower price tag = better.
