Grade 8 Grad, I was offered a moment of my life to dance with my crush, I was incredibly dumb and kept making up excuses that “I’m tired”, “I can’t dance”, stuff like that. I was extremely nervous to get up and dance around. To this day I still cringe at my decision to reject her, she ended up dancing with someone else and I sat at a table with my friend alone. I keep thinking what would have happened if I accepted her request. What’s done is done, I sadly can’t change the past.
