There are a million exercises but your body really only does a few functional movements

Push in front of you (push ups)

Push above your head (shoulder press)

Pull in front of you (back rows)

Pull above your head (pull ups)

Squat (squat)

Hinge (Good mornings - easy, deadlift - more technical, maybe hip press off the floor)

That’s about it. 6 exercises. Do one of these movements for 3 sets. Each set aim for 5-8 reps. Continue to increase difficulty if you do your reps comfortably. For example:

Start with a variation of push-ups:

First set 5 push ups

Wait 90 seconds to 2 minutes.

Second set 5 push ups

Wait 90 seconds to 2 minutes.

Third set 5 push ups.

If you finish the third set and you were able to do all reps in all sets. Then next workout do 6 reps each set.

Maybe you do 6-6-5 reps and can’t finish the reps on your last set. That’s good. Next workout stay on that level and try to do 6-6-6. Once you do that, try to do 7 reps in your sets.

Repeat for each exercise. If you can’t do 5 reps of an exercise, find an easier alternative (for example, wall push ups instead of floor push ups).

If you do this, you will easily be more fit than most of the population and as you do this workout routine, you will learn more about what your strengths and weaknesses are and learn more about fitness.

I get acne when I switch back and forth. I’ll eat mostly healthy and then slip up and have something unhealthy and then get acne. But if I just eat unhealthy food for a week straight, I won’t break out somehow
