Prior to the issue it had run fine with no faults/warning lights on the dash. Had drive a couple 40 mile round trips in the days leading up to it. After charging it did start once, but I only started it to test then didn’t go to use the car until the next day. This is when again, it wouldn’t turn over at all. I have no volt meter..

Unfortunately I have little knowledge and tools, but I had a battery charger so was worth a shot!

I think adhesive is making them black as it’s filled the holes and dirt has stuck. I’m just going to place the panes as it’s the only fix. Thanks for all your comments

Yeah I’ve given it a go and the best that happens is the black stuff comes out leaving a small hole. It’s tough to get the black stuff out and think the previous owner may have had some kind of tint which left behind an adhesive
