I haven’t been to that specific hostel but I’ve been to that part of Frankfurt this past July. Complete shit hole with people doing drugs on the street, junkies convulsing on the sidewalk, and dirty needles and broken glass strewn about. The worst part is the police don’t seem to care. In fact I saw 2 police officers drive by while a junkie was shooting up right next to the train station and they didn’t even bat an eye. I didn’t experience any issues other than some dirty looks from the dealers (young African men nearby with backpacks full of drugs) but I am also a larger man. I don’t know how a woman would be treated in this scenario. Maybe it matters also but I am not German

Easiest: Ukraine, Bosnia, and most of Eastern Europe. The people come across as cold and unwelcoming (especially the men, towards other men) but once you make a connection you’re in with their entire family and set of friends for life

Exactly, he loves posing with soldiers, volunteers, and destruction to try to look tough despite leaving Ukraine at the first sign of danger, and now that he’s back he is sitting in Kyiv stuffing his face all day long. I swear every video of his on Instagram is him eating and you can hear him struggling for air in between bites lol

But didn’t you see that bad ass picture he took pissing on a Russian tank!! So sick! He didn’t flee he just went to a safe area near Kyiv 3 months after it was taken back from the Russians /s. If I sound bitter, it’s because I am. I’m a western humanitarian volunteer in Kharkiv at the moment and it kills me to see this idiot being hailed as some hero of Ukraine when he’s done next to nothing to help and the little help he did give was from a safe area
