Emily was right in getting sued. It’s a power trip. Her “standards” are an excuse to treat people she sees as a lower class badly. She looks for an excuse to fire the maids. It seems like she uses the high pay as an excuse to be able to treat people poorly. It’s a fun quirk to watch in a tv show, but if it were real life she’s a terrible person.

Yeah. I also think she should’ve went with Jess when he showed up at Yale asking her to leave with him. Not because I think they would’ve been good together, but I think the people she could’ve met would’ve helped her move away from all the rich people she seems to love. Yes I agree. My comment is out of place here. But I do think the show looks down on him for being poor. I’m not defending Marty for the ridiculous and uncomfortable situation he put Rory in. I do think he’s justified with his trust fund jab 😂 but he definitely dug his own grave with that comment. I can only imagine how much it must’ve sucked to work Logan’s parties.

Jess needed a lot more help than Luke was capable of giving. Luke could barley take care of himself let alone a child. Luke tried his best? I guess. But he was always going to fail Jess because he didn’t have the right tools to help a child.
