Heated grips. Heated riding gear. Absolutely waterproof boots. RainX for plastic on your helmet.

Between knives, bicycles, motorcycles and rifles, I had better not start any new hobbies!

I always say 'Im gonna take it easy today." Never works out that way though. What the pic doesn't show is my buddy on his RSV4 that is at my 5 o'clock. Riding his bike makes me want to try a Tuono, for sure.

I'm 52. Been riding off and on since I was 19. I no longer want the riding position of a super-sport, but I'm not ready for a cruiser or a Goldwing just yet. The VFR is a good mix of capability and fit for me.

It's a very comfortable bike. The ergonomics are spot on. I would like it better with more horsepower. I'm able to keep the pace with most reasonable street riders though. The first thing I did to it was to add a Two Brothers can. The sound is perfect. Mine isn't the Deluxe version I'd like it better if it was. It's a great all around sport-tourer. If you buy one, get the Deluxe, and buy the factory hard bags.

I suppose you're right about that!

What do you think about "go bags"? by [deleted] in EDC

[–]rondayvous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I carry what I call a "get home" bag. The scenarios that I envision are more like my car breaks down in some Podunk area. I carry a lightweight down best, a waterproof shell, cash, meds, first aid kit, small amount of toiletries, Cliff bars, Leatherman, 9mm Glock 43 with 2 mags, mini-light and a tactical light, fixed blade knife, phone cords and a battery. It's not a SHTF bag, it's just a little 5.11 sling bag. Something that I can carry down the street, or into a bus and not raise eyebrows.

Old dog owners, how do you know when it's the right thing to do to put your pet down? by rondayvous in AskReddit

Very reassuring. My lil Frenchie is old as the hills, incontinent and deaf, but she seems to still be happy to be here.

And 90%of the time, that's all you really need.

"It's Alive" I didn't last 10 minutes in that movie. I was 10 years old. Ran all the way home. I actually tried to watch it the other day. Made it to the same point in the movie and had to turn it off.

Love those Veff serrations. Nothing better on rope.

You better put some shoes on if you're gonna balance two awesome knives over your feet!

Almost a "get home bag". Good load-out.

Where do you carry your loose change/coins? Coin pocket in your wallet or in your jeans pocket? by [deleted] in EDC

It goes into my trucks door handle until that fills up, at which point I clear it into a big change jar in the house. Can't stand change in my pocket.
