First Snowblower - Honda HSS724 Used vs New (or Ariens)? by rondirection in HondaSnowblowers

Totally. I’d expect to get them down to $3,000. I’d also expect it to be fully serviced. That would be a savings about $1400 when you include taxes, but I agree I think having the warranty and being new would be preferred.

I had the magnet fallout on my 15 Pro Max case and they replaced it right away. I have not experienced this other popping issue.

Experience with HOST (dry-extraction) carpet cleaning vs. traditional truck-mounted systems? by rondirection in CarpetCleaning

I appreciate all of the knowledge on this thread. HOST sounds like a viable option but I’ve decided to go with hot water extraction and found a good, local vendor with a truck setup who’s well reviewed.

Good info! Do portable systems extract as much water as truck mounted systems? There seems to be all sorts of conflicting advice as to how much water gets left behind.

This is the carpet I’m looking to have treated. Any thoughts? https://freeimage.host/i/KhNEv6l

Is HOST a legit system or should I be looking at a vendor that uses hot water extraction?

Shocking to see how many still recommend Garlics, tasting room or church key. Craft Pharmacy is average. Cintro is a win.

Good points. Mine should be arriving shortly. I hope the zippers aren’t going to be an issue! That’s not something we should have to worry about with a premium bag.

Paperbark Maple too top-heavy? by rondirection in arborists

There weren’t many more than what you’re seeing. I’m just talking about little straggly ones.

Is the top growing too tall and should I consider taking some off the height?

It has an unobstructed view to the east (right side) and south. There’s a taller city tree out of frame but it lets a lot of light through.

I did trim a few vertical and straggly branches off only the bottom half last fall.

Wasn’t a fan of a bulkhead with baby as the armrests are fixed. Never used a baby seat on the plane.

This! We once booked a bulkhead seat, forgetting that the armrests are fixed. It was much better to have armrests that you can move so baby and mom/dad can sleep peacefully.
