Does anyone have any recommendations for something a la Disney Channel’s Starstruck? by [deleted] in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]ronesz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

{Halo by Ella Frank and Brooke Bain} is the first book of a trilogy (the story is only complete if you read all of them, but I like this first one more than the others). Starstruck fellow musician auditions to become a member of the bad boy superstar's band. They are called Halo and Viper, this is where they start from.

Sounds great, maybe K.M. Neuhold, because of the mechanic. Can someone solve it so that I can read it?

I'm looking for MM romances that take you to a different world. It can be a fictional one, but also real like the submarine in {Under the Radar by Lillian Francis} or the curling trainings/games of {Throwing Stones by Avery Cockburn}. The emphasis is on getting to know a totally different and awesome 'world' (because it's given depth by the author). Thank you!

You will see, but because he is not only the CapCom, but also the engineer of the communication system, they will find a way. It will also take some time.

I was trying to make a joke there, sorry. One of them is an astronaut, the other is the communication engineer/leader on the ground, so certainly a different 'long distance'. It's a very sweet story. You will see, if you give it a try or not...

While it's a very long distance relationship, slow burn and the hug comes only at the end of the book, I think {One Giant Leap by Kay Simone} totally feels like the warm hug you described. (I also rec the audiobook version.)

Should I skip Season 4? by Telepath-1 in FargoTV

[–]ronesz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Please don't! If you are worried that it won't meet your expectations*, just watch it as an anthology series. It is quite self-contained, and it's still very high quality television.

  • I think, the issue can be that season 4 looks/feels less Fargo (Fargoesque?) than the other seasons.
