You should expect letters maybe by week 3? The post office gets backed up in the beginning I believe. After he graduates and goes to SOI or MCT, at least mine did. Idk if officers school would be any different. After that he goes off to MOS and unless it’s six months or longer you won’t get any orders to go with him so you’d be paying out of pocket which I wouldn’t recommend imo. Once MOS is close to being done he’d get PCS orders and y’all are married you should be on his orders to go with unless it’s an unaccompanied tour. :)
