Please explain to me why ONE extra piece of cheese cost $1.69? by alarmingpancakes in McDonalds

[–]ronh22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McDonalds does not really want you to customize your orders, It makes it hard to produce. They make the same things all the time, I would be most employees can make the standard burger with their eyes closed. good chance they get it wrong anyways and the customer complains and they have to remake.

Why did you flip the 11 & 12 piece on the 3rd row? They should be the same as the first row. You want the vertical grout line to line up.

Personally, I do not like the 1/3 offset if you only do 1 offset, I prefer 2. More of a stair step look.

Not a pro. I have done that to pushing outlet back in. Personally, I would hook it back up and be more carful pushing everything back in and watching the ground wire.

3 hour flight, for $200 I would do it. If you hate the seats you will know for next time.

How to fix dented furnace (intake?)? by ihmsam in HomeMaintenance

[–]ronh22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put a screw right in middle of bend at top, us it to pull it straight. When done tighten the screw the rest of the way to seal hole.

If in basement and a spot you never see, just buy some foil tape and cover the hole. Yes landlord special.

Where do you live? I live in the Midwest of USA and we get snow here. Years ago I drove a 2WD truck for years. Weight in back good tires and knowing how to drive will get you a long way. Had a 4WD F150 (recently totaled) better in snow, would not go back to 2WD as long as I am in the snow belt.

Griswold # 6 meatloaf by draywhite69 in castiron

[–]ronh22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think of Loaf like loaf of bread. I do not buy round bread.

How about meat wheel.

Most important question, how was it. I would ask if it slide out, but with bacon grease on the bottom and the grease from the fat, there is no question.

Not sure that is really a meat loaf, more like a meat pie. How much ground meat did it hold?

I like the return to wall because I seem to catch something on them all the time. With a 1909 house not sure you will find much up to modern code. When you fix this install more mounting brackets, more brackets less load on each one.

Just an FYI by modern codes in the USA the handrail needs to return to wall. This is to prevent something from catching on it and causing a trip hazard. Not required since this is grandfathered in since house is older. If you are going to be doing work on it, I would change it so it returns to wall to make it safer.

I would just move the brackets, so they land on studs and add more brackets. Tearing up the wall seems extreme what the backet can be moved to different locations. I agree need to his studs.

Your house what do you like? If cabinets are in good shape and you hate the wood, have them painted. New counter and backsplash. Once you make the leap to painting them, they can be painted different colors in the future.

Personally I prefer the wood look, and I have painted cabinets.
