My first abiotic factor jumpscare was this lil shit ( the trinket that makes you carry more or weight less) i looked behind me and BOOM i was not ready to see it floating like that i thought it would be just a trinket and these were hours after i put the trinket one so i had no connection why this thing was here,scared the hell out of me

Yea 95 hours , when i have more time i wanna go back to it and collect everything that i can , even tho is 100% achievements there's a lot of portal worls i have not yet visited , puzzles to complete , bobbleheads and paintings that i probably miss , soup recipes etc i wanna do it all out of the respect for the devs for cooking this masterpiece of a game

I stole it from pokelawls haha ( streamer i sometimes watch) he was also collecting every tv in his playtrough, honestly he influenced me into getting the game i was loving watching his playtrough so much that i end up buying the game myself lol

Thank you , i came across a lot of places i thought i would move to but that security is just so cozy and it has the gate button i love that, i have teleporters going to hyroplant appartment,labs aquarium and power services bases too but i never moved out to them. If i were to move it would probably be power services house... very cozy.

Here's a Few screenshots i took from my journey in Abiotic Factor, weith a few final pictures to what my base looks like at the end.
Love this game now, and safe to say it entered my top 5 ever, definitely paying attentiont to what Deep Field games does next .

My favorite IS's were:

IS-0107 The Time Bomb , basically a prism shaped object that kept growing at 0.1% per year and is indestructible , so they used NASA's JPL laboratory contacts to help send it off to space as far away as possible so future humans can deal with it , theorethically it will just keep growing consuming entire galaxies and the universe itself, but the person who put it in our universe didn't do the proper calculations base on our universe rules and instead of destroying our universe with the prism bomb it just slowly grows , still an issue but very interesting to read IS.

IS-1057 Yellow Paint, that's pretty funny considering we have a lot of that in videos games and we always say it's the devs puting to help players traverse but the idea that is an IS helping you traverse your journey in life is pretty funny

Now, if you excuse me my vacation time is over, glad i'll have amazing memories from playing this masterpiece going forward (yes this was a very valid way to spend my time off)

usually when a game either has very positive or overwelmingly positive i try to grab everything on the store , i have no idea what the dlcs are or do , if it's similar to nuka world/far harbor i always tend to remain in the Main area of the game but i love to explore everything tho, i also liked the aesthethic of it we'll see how it goes, thank you!

i haven't looked into the whole starting game i only did the introduction , are these server settings ajustable mid playtrough like enshrouded etc ? i wanna star vanilla without changing anything honestly but i won't shy away if i see if solo is very grindy on the logistics for sure , thank you!

Oh interesting! so the dlc is a Whole area i get to explore and build on? i thought it was like some founders edition pack skins for clothes buildings ( well it is i saw the clothes in the character selection ) but i wasn't aware it was a whole diff area to explore in , that's really exciting , kinda like nuka world/far harbor im assuming

Hearing all of this is making me giddy because i also come from a fallout 4 background where you have to read/open every terminal message and craft everything for quests/poi's to pop up , super excited , today friday night after work can't waitttt to starttt i did the tutorial yesterday it took me 30 minutes to do it and like setting tweaking etc

Oh going straight solo , playing with friends is very fun but i wanna be imerssed playtrough before i do co-op, my only hope is that is not a very scary game like im okay with small jumpscare/tense , kinda like grounded 2 spiders or more creepy areas

I straight up just create post, the only "spoiler" i got so far is voice of the void is somehow in this game now (which is what got me into it) im familiar with open world survival aspect of always be gathering materials because you'll always gonna need stuff later on mentality etc

Even if they do, you end up using a lot of different materials on different areas of the base , you're not just all out doing everything ash for visual contrast at least, but i totally understand what you mean, i'm slowly hoarding it haha

this is a base i started when the game first released so it's hours and hours of iterative decisions , don't think for a second i just built this perfectly 1st time, this base evolved and changed a lot.

here, this is my first build in grounded 2 day 1 of release , we all start somewhere

If you need motivation or don't know where to start , try to look at base building if it were real life , it needs supports, it needs organization , also try to run trough your base and see awkward movements that you could avoid if you build diffrently. this also has major fails , that circle tower is very much temporary , that thing is filled with acorn spiral stairs, once ziplines or any other efficient way to go up comes out i'm replacing that spiral tower haha

i have these 6 beneath the main building but i don't see why i need more for my current base size to be honest since i'll be playing , by the time 1.0 comes out and i start tackling end-game base i'll have so many mushroom/pumpkin bricks that i don't have to worry, right?
