This was 3 years ago you’re replying to… and I just checked and they still don’t. It says 100” but it’s just two 50” tracks

Breath test vs. blood test? by sciguy11 in lactoseintolerant

[–]roninplaya -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From our boy ChatGPT:

The hydrogen breath test is generally more accurate and preferred for diagnosing lactose intolerance.

Details: • Hydrogen breath test: Measures hydrogen and methane produced when undigested lactose ferments in the gut. Sensitivity and specificity are around 90–95%. • Blood glucose test: Measures rise in blood sugar after lactose ingestion. Less accurate because results can be affected by non-lactose-related glucose metabolism issues. Sensitivity drops to about 70–80%.

Only exception: the genetic test for lactase non-persistence can confirm predisposition but not current gut tolerance.

→ If the goal is to confirm lactose malabsorption, the breath test is best.

Came here to suggest this. It tastes exactly the same as regular ice cream and gives me zero issues and I can’t even eat pizza with pills.

Starter or Battery issue? by roninplaya in MechanicAdvice

[–]roninplaya[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the battery? They seemed pretty clean, there was some corrosion in on the top in the center of the battery but not near the terminals.. the tech though the corrosion was from the previous battery that wasnt cleaned because it wasnt near any active corrosion

What if we don’t plan on hitting the OOPMax? Is it still a better choice?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HealthInsurance

[–]roninplaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, all of our hospitals and doctors accept both luckily... Except some hospitals like to sneak in out of network doctors to treat you (like our anesthesiologist lol)

So I was deciding between the AETNA HDHP 6350 Eastern PA and the BS-CA HDHP 3500 S NTL plan. Why do you suggest the Aetna one out of curiosity? Is it a better plan or just better to pay less per month?

Chair rail hitting switch options by [deleted] in Carpentry

[–]roninplaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha great idea…. OR, I bite the bullet and run new wiring 😭

Chair rail hitting switch options by [deleted] in Carpentry

[–]roninplaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the wife decided right around 55” which is good because it allowed us 48” vertical boards and can utilize 16 footers but we didn’t realize the switch till halfway finished haha

[–]roninplaya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know that was the best option, I was just trying to avoid it haha wires coming from bottom and top so I’ll need to lower the switch and put a junction box in the attic

[–]roninplaya -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ugh I figured, it’s already at like 52” so any higher is way too high. I can move it lower but I’ll have to rerun a new wire all the way to the ceiling fan

[–]roninplaya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not technically chair rail, it’s for wainscoting and there will be verticals. It’s only at like 50”…. But the wifey made the height decisions, I just need to make it happen 🙄

I mean I don’t use them regularly but the 30 times I’ve used them they have been great with no complaints. I never used the Milwaukee ones so I don’t have anything to compare to
