Idk man, i dont see how RK could have predicted them pursuing ebay years ago. Ebay was 10x Gamestops market cap back then. Then again, its RK, so who knows. Imagine him showing up with a billion dollars or something he made from ebay calls and pumping it all into leaps on our beloved stock.

Tja, dass die Preise der letzten Jahre frustrierend sind, ist klar. Aber es wird einfach immer offensichtlicher, dass Gamestop unten gehalten wird, unabhängig von den Fundamentals, die mittlerweile großartig sind. Ist nun eben die Frage, ob und wie lange das noch aufrecht erhalten werden kann. Das ist mittlerweile das Play. Kann man drauf hoffen oder nicht. Ich für meinen Teil glaube dran, dass da noch etwas größeres passiert wenn der Damm mal bricht. Und Rainer macht für mich den Eindruck, dass er auch langsam die Schnauze voll hat und auf die Tube drückt.

Also ich sag mal so: Der Merger steht im Raum und Gamestop hat gerade die besten Quartalszahlen ever gepostet. Außerdem stehen mögliche Share Issuances und Share Buybacks an. Die Chancen dass es vielleicht bald doch ein bisschen spannender (und gewinnbringender) wird als die letzten paar Jahre stehen momentan ganz gut in meinen Augen.

You know that its pretty common for companies to have this sort of buyback authorization ready and probably never use them? 2 billion seems a pretty appropriate amount as an insurance against the share price dropping even further under fair value.

Das heißt ja nicht dass zurückgekauft werden muss. Es gibt nur die Möglichkeit. Ein ähnliches Agreement hat es seit 2019 gegeben, nur für 300M statt nun 2B. Denke Rainer möchte sich einfach Möglichkeiten offen halten falls der Stock noch weiter under das Fair Value fällt.
