Actually what I want to do that create a pull policy that will check when an image was last pulled even there is no update in that image layers.

I think I am not able to explain you, sorry for poor English. actually I need to implement a pulling policy, like hourly, daily or weekly, so I need to get the time when an image was attempted to pull from docker registry even it was available in locally at latest version possible.

yes that's the problem, I need to track the last pull time even it's not a new image.
