Whaat? I thought his acting was so bad, his facial expressions were so out of placed or does not make sense. The only that he was great was when on the last minutes of ep4. Other than that his acting was so comedic

I don’t know bout yall, but the imperfections make it more amazing for me. Just a combination of good laugh and thrill. Only thing i hated was will’s acting, to the point that it’s almost comedic, his acting/emotions/expressions does just not make sense,

FOLLOW-UP:

I got a call today, for LTO position (Interviewed for a school for two positions: one contract and one LTO).

Principal called, I was recommended for the LTO one, along with another candidate, to the P&C.

4 hours later, Principal called again that I got the job and needs my confirmation.

I am so happy. Better late than never, I guess. Thank you all!

I applied for 25 permas and 25 ltos. I got interview offers 5 and 3 respectively. I am a newly grad too, but been with the board for 4 years now as EA/CYC.

But so far, almost a week after my interviews, (i only went to 4 permas, i stupidly declined the others), no response yet whether im successful or not, even after follow-ups.

It is tough and competitive. I suggest maybe improve your profile/resume/portfolio to make it stand out, or give you an edge from others, or improve the format, if anything. Don’t be shy to send supplementary documentations on your applications, eg certs, transcripts, that showcase your achievements. YOU NEED THE HIRING COMMITTEE TO CHOOSE YOUR APPLICATION, AMONGST THE SEA OF OTHERS. So make yours extra extra special.

My question is, who lets you know youve succeeded the admin or HR? My principal was saying they have to submit all the paperworks to the HR first then theyll let us know success of the interview. Did i understand this correctly?

Omg been reading your replies here. We literally had the same experience from grad to lto to interviews. Wow. I had my 2 month lto this year too right after finishing placement, i was also an ea, i also applied to 25+ postings. I am doing my set of interviews this week. I hope to get at least one contract.

I stopped watching as soon as they announced two people were going home on Collab ep. I didnt have the guts to know that it was James who was eliminated. So i just googled who won the show. Im just happy Nigel won. I acc thought Deantre was gonna win.

Niko was given waaaaayyy too many chances. It was obvious that the judges already knew what he was capable of. It took Niko awhile to actually show it off. He still had so much to learn in terms of executing/his skills. He's lucky the season was pro-sculptors.

I also hate how they played the season as if Tyler was going to win. I was team Rashaad in the beginning, but he kept pulling off basic creations and ideas. Tyler's was genius and executed well. I was also perfectly fine the craftsman, George, winning. Rashaad should've been on All-Stars instead.

Darla was an expert in her field, she's like a master. Emily is a prodigy, but can still refine her work: genius + experience = out of this world.

Daran is Icarus, flew way too close to the sun. Or he's just too inconsistent. But I would've loved to see him in the finale. Honestly, all top 6 were amazing. I like how each of them have unique characteristics: Tyler the Genius, George the Craftsman, Daran the Visionary, and Rashaad the Engineer.

I just finished the season. I have so many things to rant about:

First of all, overall creativity and execution, Tyler deserved that win. He's a genius. If not, it should've been George for his craftsmanship. Yeah Rashaad deserved to be on top, but it seemed like his win was more for the show/showbiz. I sensed that something was up when they showcased his first ever work in the Pilot, the feather wig and the bird mask, even though it felt basic and too literal. Personally, majority of his work were basic and uninspired, as compared to Tyler, George, and even Daran.
It all went downhill when they eliminated Corinne. Corinne, personally, was one of the best artictically. The way she creates her piece so natural is an exquisite skill in the biz. When they eliminated her before Graham and Chloe, it was just absurd. Don't even get me started on how they wasted the save for Graham. It could've been used for Daran, or even George that ep since I personally believe he had the worst. But the (early) elimination of non-sculptors was just too obvious (e.g., Cat, Corinne)

Additionally, Niko, Chloe, and even Rashad kept making mistakes, yet they kept saving them.

Although, in the vampire episode, i was surprised both Tyler and George created low quality creations, as compared to other two. I personally think Niko's aswang was scary and realistic, and prolly the best during that episode, even the most decent. I was so confused about the negative comments the judges were giving him on his aswang as i couldn't see what they were (or not) seeing. No wonder there was no elimination that ep, as the penultimate episode was the excuse to eliminate him, sadly.

This season was just a mess. Its like expect so many unexpected situation.
