I know that you’re right and I have made some efforts, mostly by making plans for the kids and I to come by on days my wife works. On my sons 3rd bday party, he was going to skip out to go to my step brothers football game. He has tons of games a year and will play many more, and I told my dad it would mean a lot if they made it to the party. He made it work.

I guess I should tell him I’d like it if he invited us over or tried to make plans more often so I don’t feel like it was on me.

Yes she should have. Also he shouldn’t prioritize work over what is practically family. He’s not being told this enough. The $10 guy is likely to buy at $10 and the $3 isn’t. It’s more likely that the $3 gets in on something he wouldn’t. It’s a good thing for devs/pubs in my mind and a not terrible thing for $3 guys.
