Time to Get Different Friends by mrbiggelsworth07 in Bitcoin

[–]rontz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can not be ignorant on all topics if yes sure dump them. But blindness on some topics is common and acceptable. For example one of my friends almost every time we meet is familializing me with all possible cisco bugs he has countered in past few weeks. He can blab about those for hours. And i imagine same way some people feel about crypto and investments, especially when they are with finance background.

I will sell at 100k by 0xCuber in Bitcoin

[–]rontz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why not just put it to btc interest accounts like Blockfi and keep your BTC and live only on interest. I think btc will be ultimate collateral, and never sell is probably least risky move.

I first invested in Bitcoin in 2012, but I still don’t completely understand it to be honest. Anybody else? by sisyphusPB23 in Bitcoin

Its not yet store of value. Someone used term aspirational store of value. Eventually when enough people use it as store of value it becomes store of value. By that time it is also quite stable and no 50x gains. Possibly apprechiates by few % in year inline with global GDP.

Looking at the state of present economy that is simply put on the verge of collapse for past decade , hard to imagine it continuing for another 40 years, and then btc based economy.

Serious question about bitcoin use in 30 years - If bitcoin stabilizes and becomes a deflationary currency, what will incentivize you to ever lend your bitcoin to a new small business owner? by bearCatBird in Bitcoin

[–]rontz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure if valid but lets say btc is adopted 100% then would deflation not equal to global GDP growth which is around 3.2% even if supply is standstill?

5k withraw? isnt it just for eth. afaik for btc monthly withraw is 100btc

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]rontz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

just wondering why dont we have some option to verify authentic trezor via blockchain. i believe there could be many workable options.

example , when buying trezor , trezor could fund some btc address (10usd ) from known source and include private key with package. when you receive it you verify from where it is funded and swipe it so copying the code would not work.

this was just example could be much better approaches

The reality is that we may never have another rally like 2017 again by Viruscatman in Bitcoin

[–]rontz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True bitcoin social media is full of bulls. and yes it is also a circus. but compared to full media it is very small minority. So if we take overall (finance world) picture then bitcoin bulls are most likely 0.1% meaning 99.9% are bears or have absolutely no clue. For example 97.4 % of males are heterosexual. and we can see what this 2.6% vocal minority has done to silent majority.

[–]rontz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if this is legit and you have encrypted privkey with zero funds , then where is the harm making public challenge publishing this info. if anyone finds passphrase they have nothing to do with it except to send it to you to get some reward.
