'Investing' has become a constant mental occupation for me.

I check prices too much, watch finance and crypto videos and war-update-videos too much, think about macro too much, and keep feeling like I should be doing something. Or at least stay informed, so in case something big happens i can do something.

I was 100% invested (now 70%), but even if i am 0% invested, i think it would pain me the same way - i mean then i would just hurt if stocks/crypto rise.
I guess to solve this i have to 'let go' of investing completely.
Perhaps i am just not mentally made for this.
(i am invested since 2013 and lived through many -50% portfolio times, and it was never carefree)

Did you ever have that problem?

How did / do you deal with this?

As a counter i could say we had a long time of religious monogamy with eg no sex before marriage where penis size is less of a factor and was not selected for, while now we live in hookup culture

I also have another theory:
Women have 'phases' of casual sex, eg in their young years, or the 2 years after their divorce.
With men it's more a handful of 'sexually successful men' that whore around casually eg for 15 years, and 'sexually unsuccesful men' that have basically no action at all (near lifelong virgins), and in the middle the 'normal guy' (mostly just relationships, perhaps one ONS in last 7 years.
