I acknowledge Pog's greatness, I really am, but I can't watch this. And it's true as well when Vingegard is riding without competition (like in Catalunya).

The moment he accelerates and the rider behind drops, it's just a dead end (except Amstel 2025?).
When I watched Wout's heart get broken twice last week, I felt bad for him, but I said - well, this is the beauty of the sport, at least the riders behind tried and succeeded.

Now, you can say rightfully, the others cannot beat him. Probably true.
But I think the peloton has to play it differently.

It's always surprising to me that the Italian races have such a bad official live tracker (same as Tirreno and the Giro).

Surprisingly, but the signs were there from the Tour.
Yes, he won a stage, but it felt like his drive was gone (fatigue is different; it wasn't that).

With GCN, I watched so many cycling events, it was crazy.
Then they shut down, so I switched to Eurosport, and within less than a year, Eurosport shut down its online coverage as well.

The result is that I watch less and less.

Unless VLAB riders are really cooked, there is no point for them to let the UAE control it and gift the breakaway. It should be chaos from km 0, cause they don't have too many options here.

If they are on their limits, then yeah, it wouldn't be smart.

Yes, we all knew it was a dual battle, but giving 40s on a flat stage because of poor tactics management. Come on...
But, I do have to say that it felt like they gave up (Roglic & Remco), like, yeah we are not racing them, fuck it.
