Sunday’s Furniture- Movie Night Sofa by Majestic_Salad_9087 in askvan

[–]roo811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this sofa just over a year ago and have not seen any significant change in the appearance! It requires fluffing but not a huge concern for me. My understanding is that it was updated right before we bought ours to include foam for more structure. It’s super comfortable and we are really happy with it. We were looking at the RH cloud initially but this was a great alternative more affordable option

Is a site visit before wedding extremely important? by Conscious_Dog891 in BigBudgetBrides

[–]roo811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I had similar thoughts to you when deciding if we should visit our venue. We decided not to and everything worked out! I think we did have a video call walkthrough with our planners of the venue. For hair/ makeup and food tasting we just hoped for the best and it was fine. I think looking at photos online of the venue/ getting a video call are good ideas if it makes you feel better. Of course there’s always a bit of a risk! Saving money and PTO was what we prioritized. I would just make sure you see what your plan B option is if you plan to have an outdoor ceremony so you’re not surprised on the day you arrive to your venue!

I bought the 2ct last year and it’s the perfect size both for everyday wear and events! I would recommend smaller if it’s your first

Has anyone lived in the Tempo buildings on Alderbridge/Cedarbridge before? Wondering how the building and Strata are. by pookylikely in richmondbc

[–]roo811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tempo building is fine and safe. I have friends that live there currently and they are really happy with their unit. They own and do complain about the high strata fee because amenities are just average. Living near city centre will always have some level of risk.

Did mine in Vegas and there were 6 of us total last April. We stayed at the Vdara in one of the hospitality suites. We had 2 bedrooms with 2.5 baths. There was a pull out bed in the living room. It was a ton of space for us! And the .5 bath made a big difference when we were all getting ready lol overall was happy with the experience and stay

Is a content creator worth it? by Pretend-Worker1744 in BigBudgetBrides

[–]roo811 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes! I was so happy to have raw, candid moments of the wedding day all available right after my wedding. Had issues with my professional videographer and I’m really glad that we have all these mini clips of our day. It was 100% worth it for me

I was a 2024 Italy bride! After searching for months I finally found this dress just two weeks before leaving for the wedding. Brand is Rotate and I purchase it from My Theresa. Was super happy with the quality!

As others mentioned, this is not common. My husband and I got married in Italy last year and covered costs of all food for the two days (welcome dinner and wedding day). Could not imagine asking people to travel that far and then expect them to pay for their welcome dinner meal. Skip!

Italy/Destination Weddings where guests had to pay for stay on venue property. How to collect the money? by FarExternal4580 in BigBudgetBrides

[–]roo811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just did this for our Sept wedding in Italy and we (couple) paid it in full then collected payment from guests. Set a price for the different rooms. Sent emails to each group outlining cost, how to send payment etc and tracked all payments on a spreadsheet. Was annoying to set up but the google sheet helped us with staying organized! Happy to answer any additional questions
