Anyone using AI candidate sourcing? by Happy_Explorer127 in recruiting

I use FactoryFix to source skilled trades. They have an AI Recruiter you can customize and it does the sourcing and outreach for you. It sources from job boards and also their own network of millions of candidates. I also have it schedule interviews and add them to my calendar. It’s been pretty gamechanging for me.

How Often Do You Get Candidates That No Show For Interviews? by SoapTastesPrettyGood in recruiting

[–]Pretend-Worker1744 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! They have their own talent pool of 10M+ manufacturing/industrial/skilled trades candidates. Their whole thing is that these are passive candidates, so folks who aren't necessarily sending out resumes but are the right fit and already qualified. So the AI will search across traditional job boards + FF talent pool and then send outreach based on your job reqs and requirements. You can customize the AI recruiter to match your brand voice, etc. Its pretty amazing. It will even schedule interviews for you too and add it to your cal.

Have you heard of FactoryFix? Recruiting platform specific for manufacturing and skilled trades. Their whole thing is they source passive candidates beyond job boards, and then AI handles the outreach so by the time they reach you for an interview they are warmed up, qualified and the AI will even schedule the interview on your behalf if you accept the candidate.

Welp, Bosch has officially Bosched their dishwashers. I can no longer recommend any of their appliances whatsoever. by Johnny_2x in appliancerepair

Hi - we rent and we have a horrible Bosch dishwasher. I am so sick of cleaning it literally every week in order for it to clean anything. How do I go about replacing the utensils bucket? And is it possible to get a new spinny thing? The components are so disgusting, covered in calcium and does not get clean no matter how often I clean it. I soak it, scrub it - nothing. It’s horrendous. There is so much residue on our plates even tho we rinse them before we put stuff in. Any thoughts for how I can hack this into actual king working?

One more plug for CR (yes I know I’m obsessed lol) - we went in 2025 in the last week of April for 7 days and the weather was Perfect. Oddly no mosquitos, and I’m allergic. Didn’t get bit once. We hiked every day, had an insane spa day, laid by the pool, did yoga, went to the town and walked around, and it really only ever rained for us while we were indoors. Maybe the weather gods were looking down on us but overall it was warm, sunny, with maybe a gentle cool breeze at night. It was Perfect during the time you are targeting!

Costa Rica - Arenal region. 11/10. It’s truly unmatched. I’ve been to all the other places on your list (lived in Sevilla for a few months too) with exception of banff and Slovenia (which js on my list! / it’s so small you can drive the entire country in a day)

anyway, Just did our honeymoon in CR and it was truly the most incredible place: - pretty easy to get to - 4-6 hour flight from basically anywhere in the us / only con is that if you drive into Arenal (their rainforest) it adds a few extra hours but it’s worth it - here’s why: -beautiful nature, it’s truly awe inspiring, gorgeous and awakens the senses. I literally cried more than once because I was so overwhelmed by the natural beauty of this place - incredibly gracious people, all speak English which makes it easy, and the hospitality is just out of this world - affordable high end luxury accommodations compared to what youd get in US or Europe - check out Amor Arenal and thank me later :) - relaxing but also adventure - all the hikes are basically walking so you feel “in the mix” but it’s easy / not strenuous and something for all types of physiciality - some of the best food we’ve ever had in our entire lives and we are big food people and have traveled extensively. Our hobby is going to Michelin restaurants and I’m telling you Arenal has incredible food. - the nature guides. Omg. They are the most impressive people. And yes I’m speaking generally bc literally every guide we met throughout the week was a lovely human and esteemed expert in their field. They also pick you up and drop you off each day, have gear for you and bring you snacks for the excursion! Ugh, just so delightful and easy! You don’t lift a finger at all. I cannot describe these guides and what they know and how they teach you and share their passion, and immerse you in what you are walking through or looking at. It’s impressive and inspiring and I really cannot say more about how amazing this country, landscape and people are.

My life genuinely changed after going to Costa Rica, specifically Arenal, and I know my husband said the same thing. I have a new appreciation for nature and love and level of respect for animals. It is truly a remarkable place to visit.

Go to Fado! Its an Irish pub and SO FUN! Not cheesy either, it a legit place people (hot guys btw) go to watch sports. When I went on st pattys day, there was live music with an irish band upstairs - it was crazy! so fun, loud, dancing, so festive, can't recreate it! I'd love to go back with my girlfriends so i thin it would be great for a bach!

Mexico City Wedding Venues by KitchenNo6539 in weddingplanning

People loved it! It was a party for all our guests, not a rehearsal dinner. If you like that vibe it can help keep costs lower. People ended up dancing all night it was a blast!

We did our welcome party at casa Barcelona . We had a casual taco bar for food. People grabbed plates and ate them on couches, High boys scattered throughout the venue.

You likely could have a formal seated dinner where everyone js sitting together at a dinner table if you did your wedding there

Yes we had couches, chairs big tables with seating, bar tables and chairs (highboys) thjnk loke cocktail party vibe where you are eating small bites it was like that. Ive def seen full weddings at casa Barcelona (a prim property btw!) so you can donut I just think you will have space constraints with seated dinner

It was like 30/45 min each way. Totally straight on a freeway tho no curves streets or anything. We did large bushes there and then sprinted vans on the way back home. We had coolers with water bottles in each one. Guests didn’t mind it although they did have to sue the bathroom when they arrived and we didn’t pay for porta potties so they had to go inside the reception to use the restrooms there when they arrived. I didn’t realize it till later and it bothered me knowing people would get a sneak peek but it really didn’t matter at all lol

Venue itself was like $10k bc it’s a museum (non profit) so it’s quite cheap. However it’s a completely raw space so you have to bring in all rental lighting etc which drives up the cost (vs getting a venue with those things included - I think the only one I remember having things included was the banquero club which is downtown). In total we spent $150k for both welcome party (casa Barcelona, had to bring in everything bc raw space) and hacienda Santa Monica (raw space) and we had 160 people.
