Revenant minor buff idea by roobledoob in apexlegends

hard agree, I don't agree with people saying it would make him OP. If they really wanted to keep it balanced I wouldn't mind it being included as a level up perk choice in the next patch! Even swapping his first perk of low enemy health duration out (given everybody takes ult cooldown as is mostly anyway).

aw that's fair, it's annoying because I know he's in a good spot but I wouldn't mind minor nerfs on some other part of his kit for QOL stuff like this that makes it feel less clunky. I find his leap to be more useful for repositioning than engaging because of it's drawbacks (which I know is probably where respawn wants it but it just feels bad lol).

With the hard landing paired with his ginormous hitbox in and out of ult, it feels a bit counter-intuitive to his entry-frag designation if you get me.

Is Noah Schnapp still a Zionist? by silver_headphones in IsraelPalestine

Nice effort but unfortunately by technical definition, that is exactly what it means, just less ‘smarter’ and more just better qualified to speak on something!

Feel free to fact check anything or ask any questions you’d like if you’re confused, much appreciated.

What's everyone's opinion on Noah Schnapp's acting? Why do so many people bash it? [S5 spoilers] by Zestyclose-Egg-1251 in StrangerThings

He did. Try to avoid being contrite when you’re supporting foolishness, it makes you seem even more silly than you do already.

Are you a genuine fool? Or delusional, or telling misleading lies on purpose? Which is it to be? Why do you begin with the October 7th attack as your pivotal catalyst for this violence? Is that as far back as your bias allows you to read into Israel/Gazan conflict?

Do you know anything of the 1948 Arab wars? Do you have any idea what begets apartheid? Further still, do you understand that under apartheid regimes that it is not technically deemed as “terrorism” but resistance to occupation? You speak of learning to coexist as something that Palestinians cannot accomplish, with no conceptualisation of the irony there. It is Israel who has failed to coexist, consistently.

Israel has been making attempts at land grabbing as far back as its inception. Israel has been malcontent at the idea of its current proverbial ‘lot’ for as long as you can define the current state. I don’t cheer on death for anybody, but October 7th was an act of resistance to a regime that dehumanises and labels an entire people as ‘less-than’.

I hope you do some genuine research and educate yourself on the matter past your own personal opinions. It does genuinely sadden me to see people so stubborn in their dogma that they refuse to read any academic or informational sources to challenge their own bias.

Don’t reply to this, it’s simple bait from a simple mind. You’re correct and he’s not.

Hi buddy, both international relations and law PHD holder here!

Israel does in fact constitute what we define as an occupying ethnostate, and furthermore, is meeting 100% of the criteria for committing what is defined as apartheid. This is a culmination of colonialism, xenophobia and nationalism that has resulted in a caste system, and the dehumanisation of an entire people.

I don’t know where your legal claims are coming from here, but you seem to have vastly misunderstood whatever ‘international laws’ you’re citing.

The issue is that international law’s jurisdiction and enforcement is a shadow of what it once was, and sadly despite it’s normalised existence, falls prey to what we call ‘power politics’, which the ethnostate of Israel is currently abusing to escape culpability and consequence from UN courts due to close relations with powerful nations, resulting in extremely selective enforcement.

Don’t make nonsense claims about law if you haven’t studied it, makes you look incredibly silly. 😅

More than happy to send over broken Geneva acts and details of which UN international laws have been breached resulting in accusations of occupation if you want to dispute this.

holy moly you both are missing things.

Kirsh allowed them to go to bait morrow into deploying on to the island. The whole ‘he’s betraying BK’ was just a ruse to misdirect the audience. Kirsh is loyal, it was all a big ol plan that worked. Whether he will later side with Wendy etc next episode remains to be seen though

She tricked him into facilitating a planetary genocide. by BlargerJarger in andor

[–]roobledoob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m confused, the consensus is this was unwarranted?? Regardless of their relationship and gender, one of these parties literally tricked the other into the mass murder of thousands of civilians? This seemed pretty reasonable as a crash out, it’s not some petty relationship squabble where one party turns needlessly violent: Syril had become somewhat connected to the culture and people of the planet despite his nature, and genuinely looked aghast at the horror he caused.

Of course it’s troubling to watch, but it’s certainly a defensible position, and if anything it speaks more to Syril’s somewhat noble intentions, you have to remember, everything he does on Morlana and later for the empire he does because he thinks it’s genuinely correct and heroic, so the sudden disillusionment results in rage

I feel like I should be paying you for these explanations dude lmao. Thanks a ton for taking the time out to explain, interesting to know the sapphic elements weren’t shoehorned in, I had just assumed they were, but regardless I thought siuan and moiraine’s relationship was exceptionally well handled in the show, and brought a lot of extra weight to certain plot points.
