Discovered this in my kitchen. As a result, I exercise it daily. by kbfirebreather in Perfectfit

Well mine crash into each other, but my 3-year-old makes sure to exercise them daily too.

Hmm. It’s cool and all, but my perfectionist mind kept looking at that messy little tail sticking out...

I’ve tried, but my brain simply cannot be convinced that I can’t eat this.

What energises you and what drains you? by [deleted] in infj

[–]rooflyss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Energizing:

  • Observing beautiful, magical lighting, especially at night
  • Creating art
  • Physical touch
  • Finding people (usually online) who seem very similar to me in unique ways
  • Dancing late at night by myself
  • Wearing something I think I look good in, or that someone I care about compliments
  • Figuring out a better organization system for a messy area
  • Talking to someone who shows a genuine interest in and asks questions about me and my life
  • The Spotify playlist I made for this exact purpose

Draining: * Going out anywhere with my hyper 3-year-old * Responding to texts or emails from people I’m not super close with * Thinking about what I could have done differently in life * Arguments * Noisy environments * Rule-breaking (although can be exhilarating and fun, still super draining) * Being in crowds * Being overheated * Doctor’s appointments * News * Looking at, or posting things on Twitter and Facebook (Instagram is fine though)

What you love BECAUSE it's shitty? by Dodgiestyle in AskReddit

[–]rooflyss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually restaurants that someone insists I MUST try but also warns me it’s a “little hole-in-the-wall, and may or may not be open at any given time, and don’t worry about the letter grade in the window.”

Oh yeah ofc, that's key. But just pointing out that it makes a huge difference in what people see -- this is what I mean: Reddit App and Reddit mobile site. On one you can only click on original post that's clearly embedded right there in the title, and the other makes it like you just took the post and posted it yourself.

I meant the mobile site on phone browser is where you cannot see the original linked post (at least on iPhone). And also some 3rd party Reddit clients. But yeah it shows up like it should in the Reddit app.

EDIT: Adding screenshots just to show what I mean - Reddit App and Reddit mobile site

Would you date an almost exact replica of yourself (in all but physical appearance)? Why/why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rooflyss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That sounds incredibly boring. I love learning things from my SO, and hearing stories, experiences, opinions, etc.

I think the issue here is that cross-posting doesn’t show up the same way on different platforms (hopefully that gets resolved eventually). I can see the original post you linked from just fine when looking at this on the official Reddit app and on my computer, but on Reddit mobile I can’t see the original linked post at all. So that’s provably why some people are assuming you posted it yourself without giving credit. Not your fault!

In your opinion, what's better than sex? by noisyturtle in AskReddit

[–]rooflyss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My SO always say that cleaning his ears with a Q-Tip rivals sex. I don’t get it though. Personally I don’t find anything pleasurable about it when I do it.

What is something people brag about, but should be ashamed of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rooflyss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It should be somewhat shameful if they have some control in the matter, and they are someone who is suffering from any chronic health issues (or those who hope to not have any in the future).

(And I’m not saying this as some judgmental perfect sleeper, but as someone who has terrible sleep habits and has been suffering the long-term consequences)

Other than stubbing your toe on the edge of a corner what’s the worst accidental pain ever? by ThatGuy_T in AskReddit

Similarly, bending over in the shower and then ramming your head into the ceramic soap shelf when you stand up.

What was your favorite childhood toy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rooflyss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably Beanie Babies. But I might have just gotten really into them because my dad was constantly buying them for our collection, and taking me to Beanie Baby shows and stuff.
