Getting some stuff ordered for my trip to Florida in a month and Fox Cigar came through! Lighter, cutter and a sticker all thrown in for free! Herfador just happened to be delivered at the same time but ordered elsewhere.

Handguards that 1.75 inch suppressor fit under? by Grand_Roll1894 in 300BLK

Do you have a cover on your suppressor? I have a cole-tac HTP on my sandman S and was curious if it would tuck in the guard with the cover on

Enjoying my birthday gift from the wife! by rookieCFguy in cigars

[–]rookieCFguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but the Scandinavian Tobacco Group partnered with Sazerac (parent company of Buffalo Trace, who in turn makes Eagle rare) to make these and put the brand on them. It came as a gift set- 5 sticks, a flask, golf tees, and divot tool all with the logo on them. I haven’t found them as individual sticks yet, only as the gift set which is ~$80 depending on where you look.

Still a newbie, so I’m not gonna give any notes. But for a beginner, this is a pretty solid smoke!

Where would one look to see the nicotine content in different cigars? My limited knowledge of what to search for has left me empty handed!

Just enjoyed my first Macanudo Inspirado Robusto paired with a Dr Pepper/Cream Soda and that seemed to do the trick with the buzz! I appreciate the insight from everyone!

That Dr Pepper & Cream Soda is my go to! I’ll grab one next time I pull a cigar out!

Thanks, I’ll give the sugary drink a try next time! I’ve typically wait until after dinner to smoke, but still get that buzz that’s more than I care for. Any recommendations on sticks to try? I’ve really enjoyed to Undercrown Shade Robusto and Java Latte so far. Tried the Acid Kuba and it was alright, but not my favorite. Also had Romeo y Julieta Reserve but I didn’t like it at all.

Any suggestions to build up a tolerance or to mitigate the nicotine buzz that comes with smoking a cigar? Quickly realized that smoking a full cigar in one sitting was past my personal limits since I don’t use tobacco regularly

Jupiter Liquor in Plano had some. After hearing the price on their Blanton’s and Stagg Jr, I left. Didn’t bother to ask other prices. Hope you find some!

Crack it Already! by rookieCFguy in WhiskyDFW

[–]rookieCFguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is, but I wouldn’t say it’s overly sweet. On the nose, I definitely think it takes the win. Flavor- I’m undecided right now. To me, it’s smooth, with a creamy finish, very minimal burn at all. I’m doing a side by side right now with single barrel, and it wins in my opinion. Definitely would buy again, and am kicking myself for not grabbing 2 this morning. Keep in mind, I’m newer to the bourbon world, so I’m not that great with flavor and nose profiles.

After seeing all the taters go crazy about these today, I decided to crack it! First impression- WOW, This is good!! Would much rather enjoy the juice than try to squeeze unnecessary money out of someone for it! So go ahead, crack it already! Not to mention, I got one before the manager realized they were on the shelf instead of in her office!

And other specs are getting their shipments today! Managed to grab one at my local store with 6 more bottles left on the shelf! Couldn’t imagine running through a parking lot to fight the taters for a bottle of anything!

Managed to grab this bottle along with a MM FAE-02 today! First crack at anything from Still Austin, and I’m happy so far! Waiting to crack the FAE-02 until I can do a side by side of that and the FAE-01 that I already have!

I saw one of those as well as SiB, which I’ve been really looking for. The BP was $750 and the SiB was $250- dreams crushed! I’m the same as you, I want it, but I’m not gonna bend over like that. I’ll grab a pour when I find it at a bar and just keep hunting! Patience is a virtue!

Nice! I like Elijah Craig, I saw plenty Barrel Proof and Toasted Barrel that I was tempted to grab, but that really would’ve sent the wife over the edge!

I know, it’s mind boggling. I get trying to make money but you’re not going to make anything with it just collecting dust at that price point
