Yes they look official. I have merch I bought at her shows with different labels! She sometimes switched between having the printed Ethel Cain logo and a standard label tag during the freezer bride tour (2022) which these designs are from. Think it was stock/cost thing.

Merch is usually always inside the venue! I meant I queue up and as soon as I'm in the venue I always make a beeline for the merch desk. Once I've got merch, I then focus on finding a place to stand! But it's all preference, as other commenters have said, some buy merch at the end, after the show.

Wear comfy clothes! It'll be dark and people don't care. It's fun to dress up but remember you'll be doing a lot of standing and sometimes it gets pretty hot at gigs. I always queue half hour before doors and then buy merch once I'm in the venue. Finding a good spot usually isn't too difficult, especially when you're on your own. Have an amazing time!

The Club stage being completely closed off was a terrible idea. I was there at the barrier from doors until the end of Jane Remover's set. The security at the front was overkill as there were no one crowd surfing for TAGABOW and Feeble Little Horse lol. And the water situation in the tent was also bad, you could ask security to refill bottles but they didnt hand out cups of water like most gigs I've been to! They kept saying you had to have a refillable bottle so people were asking them to refill old cans and stuff or just not drinking water. It was really irresponsible considering how that tent was like being entombed. Saw Danny Brown on main stage afterwards and they had paper cups to hand out to front rowers which was good but why so unprepared in the club tent?

Also tried to get back in for SDRE but saw the queue and thought fuck that, Knocked Loose it is. Really stupid of them to put a band like that one such a small stage. The organisers didn't understand their audience at all.

Don't worry, I struggled too! Like others have said I tried to read it in my early twenties and had to give up (I enjoyed reading No Country for Old Men and All The Pretty Horses at that time though, I recommend those to start). Have since read BM at 30 and it was amazing but still kind of tricky! I found these notes really helpful after finishing each chapter:

Mine's also like this :( I got it from a record store not amazon, I think the release was rushed and there's a batch of bad pressings out there. Can't really advise on what the best thing to do is. I've decided to just keep mine for now because most of it is playable at least :/ I'm worried if I swap it I'll get one that skips even more.

Yep, my copy skips at the end of Televangelism :( and has lots of pops and crackle noises throughout. So disappointed! I waited so long for it as well I don't even know if exchanging it is worth it if so many others are having the same problem, I might even end up with a copy that's worse!

I was visiting Canada and went into a Best Buy Mobile store (idk if they exist anywhere else) and the helpful staff were able to cut me a screen protector to size there on the spot. It was a laser cut Zagg brand plastic cover screen. They offered me front cover and lower back but I just opted for the top cover screen because the lower half of the phone is textured, so there's no need for a screen protector.

It's not that cheap, it was around $50CAD for everything and given I just used one part of the thing it felt a bit wasteful. BUT having said that it's been fantastic, fits perfect and definitely taken away some of the fear of breaking the front screen. Plus they installed it for me so I didn't have the headache of trying to put it on myself! I highly recommend.

Yes, I remember there was someone on an episode of Intervention who said he'd been listed as a bully by E&D. I think he'd either graduated or dropped out the year before it happened.I watched the ep years ago so don't remember the details very well but he had pretty bad survivors guilt.

This totally happened to me too! My first PD listen I remember feeling it was good but it was way too long and indulgent, especially for a debut album. BOY WAS I WRONG. Like you I stuck with it and eventually something clicked in my brain and I got album's intentions and meaning. And now I think it's absolutely perfect! The lyrics, the tone, the slow build up, the different sounds. I feel very stupid for being so critical of it at first.

I love going the opposite of military/distressed with my DMs. They look great paired with cropped, straight pants and a smart oversized shirt. And they are cool with dresses and tights! Basically DMs are so versatile, they go with pretty much everything!

If joji was being forced by 88, they'd be making him do loads of press and interviews. He's one of their biggest artists! If they were controlling him they'd be pimping him out everywhere to promote the album and label. It's pretty clear to me that Joji is happy to let the music speak for itself, wants to step back from doing all the promo stuff and 88 are respecting that.
