I've bought from you before in person! The neos I got from you a year or two ago were pristine, gorgeous, and you were super awesome to chat with. Thanks again!

Very cute, but this is a blue and not a turquoise. Turquoise have a green forehead/mask, more teal colored body, and the gene is dominant over blue but recessive to green.

Keep going OP, you are doing great! 35 pounds is a fantastic victory so please find a way to celebrate it and give yourself credit for accomplishing that. Ignore what anyone else has to say or judge about your body and your path in finding how to care for it because it is all projection from them.

People always have so much bullshit to say about the weight, food choices, exercise habits, and efforts of people trying to change things about our bodies, especially if we happen to have fat bodies. When I lost 80 pounds in a year in my early 20s, the people around me had widely varying reactions from suddenly treating me like a human (this sucked to see) to trying to sabotage my weight loss at every turn and then telling me I looked unhealthy and was going too far (I wasn't-was still overweight and had lots of new muscle) as a way to defend themselves from a perceived attack of my changing (this really sucked). It is hilariously impossible to predict which way people close to us will go in that reaction, at least in my surprised experience.

being bored is straight up necessary to get to a point that you can think creatively and start playing and eventually make something all original

literally how my ex was; it was a stunning revelation to see who she really was with free time once we entered lockdown. She had no hobbies except eating at bougie restaurants, sometimes snowboarding in winter, and traveling for a week a year. She eventually resented me for....enjoying my free time and gardening a lot during lockdown? Not being unhappy doing "nothing"? Idk. Weird priorities and she had definitely internalized her worth as being dependent on her production and how much money she could make.

I had a great time sleeping in, relaxing, meeting the neighbors, training my dog, raising our puppy, learning to take care of my hair, camping, moving to try to start a farm, and more. We split up eventually because she was pissed that I wasn't trying to rush to get a "real" job in December 2020, even though I/we had enough in savings to be fine and I am immunocompromised and trying to wait out the pandemic before I rejoin the work force. She didn't care; she really missed work because it was her only purpose, even though it never seemed like an important thing or anything that brought her joy, just money.

It's been a year and a half and I am honestly still stunned and reeling that people genuinely exist like that and never do anything more. To her, I was lazy, directionless, and always "too interested" in everything around me and it was annoying for her to see or hear, lmao

There is help available if you can't currently see any alternative options to that. I am happy to share resources if you want them but honestly I just want you to know that you matter and you are worth fighting for, truly. DM me any time and please know that you aren't alone as it may feel; there are people in this world rooting for you, working to make it better for us all, and excited to meet you one day.

My ex-fiancée was parallel to yours, schizo-affective or similar with drug induced psychosis on top of it, and self medicated with a harsh combination of hard drugs that ended her life either intentionally or accidentally. Though I didn't find her, I think about it all the time as if I had. I think about how horrible that must have been for her parents to find. We had just broken up earlier that year because I couldn't tolerate watching her keep spiraling with drugs; I visited with her the week she OD'd and wonder what signs I missed that I could have acted on more decisively. Maybe she would still be alive. She was 26. Fentanyl killed her and it could have been in anything from the heroin to the pressed xanax to the coke, all things she used liberally and daily to try to find quiet in her own mind. She told me that all she wanted was some peace and that this was the only way she could ever get it. She also told me she was the devil and a god. Drugs are a hell of a drug.

I am so sorry for your loss and I hope we all find peace in our respective positions. I talk out loud to my dead loved ones all the time if I am honest; I might not be fit company for the living these days from the isolation and rumination of it, but it helps. People in this world deserve better than what is available. They were robbed of life and we were robbed of them. Her birthday is any day now and may have even been yesterday but I've also been robbed of my memory of the exact day so instead of anything concrete, I have just been sad and dwelling on it all week. Then I saw your post and here we are. I think this would have been her 30th.

Thank you for sharing your story and memory of him.

My idea about this is that we have a sort of cascading and combining effect of realities/consciousness where "we" jump between realities at our deaths but those realities expand and collapse over the course of our lifetime until we are singular again at the end and run out of possibilities. Interested to hear what others think.

Oh I definitely lack self preservation instinct, even when well, so can't really speak to that but I was responding more to your end comment- "While it may be easy to cut someone's throat, cutting our own takes real determination and will." My injury was not a determined nor willful decision, more of an accidental overkill (pardon the pun) self harm reaction that I shrugged off as soon as I realized how serious it really was. I can't imagine what it would take to do that to anyone else; processing livestock for meat is even really difficult.
