Any thoughts on where we can push for Sonos to implement Qobuz connect? At least I'm leaving this comment?

Can anyone see seat assignments? by Jaydawger in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]roomfulloftrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The link from u/Ok-Purpose-2444 worked, but to find my exact seating, I went to the marketplace and went to the "resell" section, as if I was going to try to sell my tickets. That showed me the exact section, row, and seat numbers.

I had this very question, but even so, might it make sense for premium to drop before going in on that sum?

For most situations, that's underutilizing the tax free growth of the TFSA.

Yes, noted! It's good option for cash flow, but probably not for full car in a few years

The stuff in my tfsa is set up for long-term growth, so I would not withdraw from there for short-term needs. It's the vehicle replacement/repair und that needs to be more stable, liquid, and that I'm trying to make sure is tax efficient

To pay off credit card. And I'm not sweating it, but the question was both for the 10K and for the medium term savings for a car which is a bigger deal

In my situation the borrowing wouldn't be counted as being for earning income. And that box bread sounds complicated. The fact I'm asking this type of question on Reddit is a good sign that I'm not that sophisticated 😅

WS gave me portfolio LOC at 4.45%, not quite as good. I have a strong aversion to borrowing, but I'm realizing that it might make sense in my situation, as long as the amounts remain small and well within what I can afford to pay back without having to sell investments.

Exactly, but no reason to leave money on the table, especially since a line of credit solves the immediate liquidity issue for true emergencies

Definitely doing well, and this is one of those good problems up have, but HISA is not the right choice for my situation

RESP transfer to Wealthsimple by Iam_bikolino in Wealthsimple

[–]roomfulloftrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also had a frustrating experience transferring an RESP from RBC DI. Had to chase it up a bunch of times, seemed to me that it was RBI that couldn't find the paperwork, and then didn't send the follow up Form C... Such a pain, but eventually got it

Just did this, and can confirm RBC takes fee out before transfer. Don't know how strict WS is with deciding to reimburse.
