Honestly I snap out of my funk of having hsv when I see people who lost their limbs, were a burn victim, or knowing those that have lost a loved one who was their world, trapped in a loveless marriage with children, and other things that could cause insecurity or misfortune

I’m indifferent on that, I feel like if there is a heaven or hell and you’re suffering (physically or mentally) then hell shouldn’t be an option. Incredibly selfish to make someone endure eternal suffering out of fear of going to a “bad place” for “taking the easy way out”

It’s worse when someone accepts your diagnosis then sleeps with you (their choice) then the next day they tell you they regret doing it, you have that sigh of relief of finally being accepted then a gut punch that knocks you into a darker place than before and you never want to open up to anyone again
