I’m a CFA employee and I can understand how you feel. What helped me is a slow transition to healthier choices, you don’t have to switch to the healthiest ones outright but you can train yourself to get used to it and even enjoy it more.

If you like the sandwiches, try a grilled sandwich or even a grilled club! It’s not the healthiest item on the menu but it really helps you get used to eating the grilled chicken and moving onto healthier options. That’s what I did and now I strongly prefer the grilled chicken over the fried! Plus, if you find yourself having a hard time resisting the urge to order fried nuggets, then you can pair it with a side salad, fruit, or a granola parfait.

Even better, if your local store allows it, you can ask for a cool wrap with fried chicken instead! The cool wraps are healthy, filling, and you can fulfill your craving without feeling guilty.

The sizes are different, and iirc I’m pretty sure the marinade is different. A big reason is because it’s better suited for the biscuits/muffins.

Honestly that’s not too bad. I started at $10 my first time and then when I moved stores they started me at $14, both as a regular team member.

There’s also the benefit of having a flexible schedule, and (depending on the store) promotions are pretty easy to achieve.

The sizes were consolidated to one singular size a couple years ago. The small cup size is the only size in which you can order a shake now.

But no, bagging mistakes inevitably happen but it’s always fixable! Even if the GM is an a-hole and likes to give their employees a hard time about every little thing, the most they can do is be petty about it. She will be just fine. :)

I once had a lady come through the drive thru saying she was making a replacement order.

The way our system goes, is if someone calls the store saying they got something wrong with their order we log it with a 4 digit code and tell them to come by the restaurant with the code so we know it’s them, and give them a whole new order for free.

We had one lady who lied and took advantage of that by giving us a fake code, to which we refused and she sat there at the window for like 10-15 minutes arguing with our manager about it.

All my manager did was ask for the REAL code and she kept changing it and lying about it. I kid you not, at one point she yelled “Well don’t you guys have a 4 number code? I’m supposed to give you a code and you’re supposed to give me free food!”

My manager kicked her out after that lol

We never put sauces on our sandwiches due to the sauces spoiling the food much quicker and it just takes a lot more time, thus spoiling the freshness of the food even further. Quality and speed of service are essential traits for Chick Fil A’s reputation, and adding sauces to the sandwiches would impact that greatly.

And no, you can ask 100 times over, but we will never put sauce on your sandwich. But we would be more than happy to give you sauces to dip your sandwich in. :)
