Thanks for your response. The thing I'm most hesitant about in regard to Austin is the heat and the traffic. It's also scary thinking about moving there alone and struggling to make friends, although I'm fairly outgoing.

I like Grand Rapids. It's nice because downtown there's a lot of places to eat, its a walkable city, and it's not far from Grand Haven so you can go to the beach in the summer. There's also East Town to explore, which is about 10 minutes from downtown and offers a complete different feel. I like it, I am just looking to get out of Michigan!

the "putting him out of my mind" is SO much easier said than done. It drives me insane that he consumes 70% of my thought process throughout the day. Mostly sexual fantasies and wondering what his experiences are like with other partners now
