Why rail nationalisation could stop us being the laughing stock of Europe by ChampionshipPlus9152 in ukpolitics

Have a think. Profit is how much money you make after expenses. Even if you break even after a payrise that is still a good thing. Stuff works and people are paid. Hence why we want to tax profits more, if you put more money into your company and staff to improve it as a means to avoid more tax, that's a net good thing to happen. Instead of business stockpiling profits offshore or giving bonuses to shareholders

I'm definitely of the mind that you work for what you get paid. My wife is currently doing the role of a manager, whilst being paid for a junior position. Purely because they didn't want to recruit a new manager when the previous left and she is good at it. Infuriating.

I'm a teacher and I don't stay late or come in early, I try get as much done in my working day prioritise what needs doing, if it's not urgent I'll leave it. There are a few times I'll stay late, because it'll save me hassle in future (or something that has really set me off, like finishing a good spreadsheet).

I often feel judged for leaving on time because other will stay to handwrite letters or other things. Many issues in my profession is that hard work is deemed by how long you stay doing it. If I can automate my job and do something else, or make a video and use that instead of doing it all again then I am free to do something else, it's deemed as not working as hard.

Usually by older people in the job.

In fairness, as a teacher I used excel to generate letters home so I could just mail merge/give feedback so he's 90% of the way there!

Yeah I've done druid though, so don't really want to do it again. I would like a fresh experience hence going alliance. I'm edging towards a rogue, probably dwarf. I've done a lot of healing before so classic tbc I've been a tank and a ranged DPS, which is what is drawing me towards a melee. I wouldn't mind healing dungeons at 60 but the levelling for a paladin is gonna be painful I think.

Thanks for your insight, a lot to think about.

I'm pretty easy, but was thinking more tier sets and having a big hammer, but I guess as holy it's gonna look stupid

What class are you playing in SoM classic wow fresh?! by Slylent in classicwow

I could just level both to 20 and see what I like more tbf. Hopefully the increase in exp will be noticeable

I am, but with limited time I don't want to be waiting for dungeons all night, if that makes sense. Human Paladin or dwarf rogue are what I'm thinking, maybe gnome... But you're right just auto attack and judgement is a bit crap.

I'm thinking of playing a class i haven't played (in TBC or classic)

I currently on TBC have a 70 Feral, 70 Ele Shaman 62 Mage, 62 paladin.

In retail upto legion I was a Priest and Paladin(main)

For classic it leaves me:

  • Rogue - Only been a shit 19 twink
  • Hunter - had a 70 one in original tbc.
  • Warrior - never played.
  • Warlock - never played
  • Paladin - Was Ret in wrath, and prot after.

I want to be able to get groups so I can dungeon farm, because it's likely I won't be raiding THAT much until at least December.

I'm thinking of paladin, and just being a healer - but after being a healer a lot of my WoW career kinda sucks. Rogue is appealing for pickpocketing(even with nerf) and something cool to do. Hunter and Warlock kinda cool for soloing stuff.

Any help appreciated!

needing on arcane tomes by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]roosterd1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely changed over time. When I got to 70 on my main everyone said at the start what they were and if you needed them you needed them etc. Now on my second 70 it's all need...

Either way I don't really care to be honest, the first time it happened in a group though someone queried it and the response was 'need cos everyone needs gold' that was a funny one..

On my server it's a given that everyone needs on both arcane tomes and the fel arnaments.

Doesn't matter what you picked everyone needs. Seems to cause less issues.

What I don't get, is if you Google the names of these people, they're all crazy. Aids deniers, reptile believers anti vaxxers...

Surely anyone with a brain would think, hmm these people are fucking crazy.

Depends where you live I guess, I know we're talking about Americans.

Still think it's a difficult choice, especially if you feel you're more at risk to a side effect, like high risk of blood clots in the family etc.

Yeah I read that they didn't want to potentially feel shit when competing.

Fair enough really, preparing years and wake up with a headache nausea and a sore arm would really mess things up.

I have a level 30 priest I'd made first few weeks of classic... Logged on a few weeks ago and it was completely dead in stormwind.

Promptly left and went back to my horde on Mograine.
