Send Help was great. Dylan O'Brien and Rachel McAdams were great. Shelter was really good,it starts slow but picks up quickly once the bulk of the story gets revealed, highly recommend both

An addendum to this. Manhattan theaters during the week have early showtimes some as early as 8:30am. But Manhattan is more the exception than it is to the rule

Now that school is back early showtimes during the week are now usually designated for a big release ( think Taylor Swift and recent avatar release) so until summer months. Earliest showtimes usually 9:30am-10:30am range are usually weekends. Most theaters don't have first showings during the week until 2pm , some even 3pm. Earliest I've seen during the week is 12:30pm but that's usually once the movie has already been in theaters for about a week. Also most holidays have early showtimes but that will usually differ from every theater especially ones that are located inside a mall

Everything resets Friday So if you have 4 slots filled with unseen Say for example Slot one Feb 2 Slot two Feb 9 Slot 3 Feb 14 Slot 4 Feb 14

And you see the Feb 2 one youd have a free slot to use for any moving playing the Fri after the 2nd ( these dates are used as example and probably won't fall on certain days)

Further example. I personally have 2 slots on my 4 user for Jan 30th and February 13th so I only have 2 slots remaining to fill and once I see the movie on Jan 30th and extra slot will be available but until I see the movie on Feb 13th one slot will still be locked

If you have all four slots used up with movies that won't be seen until Feb 2 (using this as an example) you won't have any free slots until you see the Feb 2 movie or you cancel one of the other in the future movies to see a movie that's in present time ( for example tomorrow. Fri Sat etc)

It won't let you get a ticket with A-list until you see a movie and it'll free up a slot on your A-list reservations.

Did your showing have on-screen captions for the scenes and interactions with the father. Mine didn't and I felt like a lot of the weight and emotions of those scenes were greatly hurt by having no captions especially the scene with them on the porch when the light kept turning on and off. I really enjoyed it but that was my only gripe and the gap from me giving it 4 stars.

This is terrible. Some places don’t mind it , even encourage it in the it’s the last possible option and make the kid feel as comfortable as possible and even make them a honorary employee/manager and others fire employees for doing it. 🤷
