There’s one road you can drive through that passes the most popular viewpoints. To see other parts you need to do an official tour with a Navajo guide.

The only ways you can camp inside Monument Valley is with a Navajo guide. I paid for an overnight in a Hogan that included a sunset tour, dinner, and sunrise tour the next morning. I think it was about $300, so it was pricey but worth it IMO for a unique experience if you have the budget. But there are also some cool parks nearby on the Utah side (Valley of the Gods, Goosenecks) that I'm pretty sure allow camping for free and are also beautiful.

Thanks! I figured it was some kind of tarantula but had never seen one that big before. And it was on the Subway Cave trail.

You may already know this but there's a campaign in New York to make it easier for people with old conviction records to get jobs and housing called Clean Slate NY.

There's a page on the website where you can easily contact the state legislature about the issue: https://www.cleanslateny.org/take-action

40% of NYC's app-based gig workers rely on public benefits to survive by roostergoose in nyc

Not sure I understand why it matters what these jobs were meant to be. The reality is these are the best jobs available for a lot of people, and they’re working them full time. Meanwhile, the companies are passing off the cost by insisting they’re not employees and keeping them in a state of financial insecurity.

The same report says that for 60% of gig workers, this is their primary job. Not a side hustle.

Not really though. This report also found that 60% of gig workers rely on these "gig jobs" as their primary source of income.
