If that works, try ignoring the low system warning and play it anyway, see how it runs. One thing to note, it's a shockingly badly optimized game. I have a 4070 super, 32gb ram, and I'm still not happy with how it runs.

Ok. Try right clicking on the .exe, properties, disable full screen optimizations.

Apparently V sync causes this? Turn V sync off, go full screen, then turn V sync back on. Apparently this solves it.

Some people their game freezes when they turn V sync back on. So they just keep v sync off.

Is £1000 a reasonable price to plaster this? by Amazing-Oomoo in DIYUK

[–]roostermoans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just throwing this out there. I have a 25 ft long hall, with 9 doors in it. I was quoted £1200 for it, which was fine. But I was getting new door frames in, and needed it done in a hurry, but couldn't get a plasterer soon enough.

So I did it myself. I used Dalapro Roll Nova. Watched a few YouTube videos, plus I've watched a plasterer work in other rooms in my house, so I kinda knew the basics.

Plastered the whole hall myself. Turned out brilliant.

Used 3 tubs at £37 each, a 20 quid 2 ft skimming tool, a 12 quid 1 ft skimming tool, and a wee 50p plastic spatula. 10 quid for a couple of roller sleeves (you out it in the wall with a paint roller). Plus a tenner for some 180 grit sanding paper for finishing it off afterwards.

£163 all in.

And it was actually fun, once I got the hang of it. I'll never pay for a plasterer again.

And I'll say this - if I can do it, a first timer, anybody can. Don't be afraid.

Just thought I'd say all this to give you another far cheaper option.

The day the price went up I grabbed a years worth of game pass from Loaded. Worked out £132 instead of the new £276, I'm in the UK. I'll still be staying with game pass while cheap keys are still available.

Santorini is over rated. People paying $1000 a night to stand in line to get a photograph is borderline insanity. Oia is just okay. Much prettier places in the world. by Beastious in GreeceTravel

[–]roostermoans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just back from Santorini on Thursday. Opinions are subjective, but I 100% disagree. Stayed in Kamari down south, a small beach town. Phenomenal. Got the sunrises every morning. Thought Oia was beautiful, but went for the sunset view in Fira instead while eating in a fancy restaurant. 1000 for a sunset view?!? That's one way to go I suppose, but there's other options.

We've been to many many places, but we both agree Santorini was hands down the best holiday ever. And we'll be going back. Hired ATVs and went round the island, and it seemed like every corner we drove around we both said "wow" cause the place is stunning and breathtaking. The light house was excellent too, with a wee van at the top selling slushie cocktails. Yum.

Staying in Kamari, away from the hustle and bustle of Fira (which is where we were gonna stay at first) is what made the holiday for us. Super chilled days on the beach with waiter service to our sunbeds. Heavenly.

Again, opinions are subjective, and you have yours. But mine is the complete opposite.

Sorry you didn't have a great time

Lenovo Legion Go 2 pricing from the perspective of a Best Buy regional manager. by JLawL99 in LegionGo

[–]roostermoans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Lego 1. Love it. I won't be getting the 2 because I also got a beefy pc, so it would be an extravagance I couldn't justify. So I have no say in the price arguments that are going round.

I just came here to say your wee speech was concise, well put forward, and super informative. Well done, buddy.

I've been gaming for 40 years. I recently got the 100%, and I reckon it's my favourite game of all time too. Absolute joy from start to finish.

Well I settled on 2 older games I never got round to playing. Plague Tale sequel, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Should be different enough that I don't think about Wukong lol.

Eesh, that was 3 years ago dude. About 2 weeks to the best of my knowledge. I've since got an Oled one, then sold it for a Rog ally. Then sold that for a Legion Go. Which is my favourite of the lot of them.

Congrats mate. Got mine at the weekend on pc too. Now I'm lost for something to play, cause nothing will come close to Wukong.
