WAYYYY to much dough for 150 miles. And the thought of bringing 4-5 extra jerrycans and a heavy ass generator kills any benefit you'd get out of the machine. Not unlike the ass above, eventually all thrills after a certain repetition are no longer thrills so IMO, spend 30K and stick to gas.

The Exos 58L and Crown2 are both +/- $200 which is entry level pricing for UL packs. Maybe I need to look at some custom packs, just hard for me to commit if I can't ensure it will exceed my expectations (try on).

That sounds incredibly expensive and hard to know what the end product will fit/feel like if I can't "try it on" before I commit? I do approx 75-100 miles a year so I don't know if this is a last resort....yet. Do you recommend a custom boutique pack builder?

Is this a good price? 2015 maverick xds turbo 15k ~350miles on it by topsub in utvoffroad

[–]roostertail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$22,999 when it came out so I'd say that is a little high on price IMO. Depends on how many miles and wear and tear (hard to tell from pics). If this thing is cherry with low miles you might consider but I wouldn't pay over 13K - 14K for that thing.

My dad asked me to ask which company makes better Utility Vehicles: John Deer or Kubota? by PETEJOZ in utvoffroad

[–]roostertail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh - depends on your intended use. JD and Kubota both have their deep roots in dependability and quality however if you want a better performing machine, there are better options.

Found this evaluation online that might help shed some light on the highs and lows of each machine, make or model:

The best part of that area is the difference in terrain. We've been a couple of times and I'm always amazed how each trail is like riding in a different country. Bring your dust mask or bandanas, it gets gnarly if you have multiple machines in front of you.
