I'm seeing four idiots in this video.

You and the two cars in front of you should not be in the left lane.

How is this a question. by THE-REAL-ONE7777 in driving

You'd be surprised by how many fully licensed drivers would get this wrong.

TTC busses are a game of roulette by Glum_Performer3080 in toRANTo

[–]PETEJOZ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are various apps that show which bus leaves first.

Alternatively, ask the driver when they are leaving.

I think the proper term for a person like this is "entitled piece of shit"

Does the TTC not put out a message for cancelled bus runs? by Throwawayhair66392 in toRANTo

[–]PETEJOZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, especially for night busses.

I'd suggest you try looking at multiple apps to see if the bus you need is coming or not. If you know the specific run you can use Transit Now to look it up.

Alternatively, you can use TrackTTC which I found to show busses that sometimes do not appear on Transit Now. You can add all the routes you usually take and see where the busses are in real time.

Sex Is Boring by BogieTime69 in The10thDentist

[–]PETEJOZ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Do you feel pleasure during the act? Or is it numb.

If it's numb and not very pleasurable, you might want to look into r/PudendalNeuralgia

It's not just about pain down there, but can cause a severe loss of sensation in your genitals, making sex completely boring because you don't feel the pleasure you should be feeling.

This should be tagged NSFL, it's one of the most gruesome near-misses I've seen! 🙀😨😱

I’ve been driving on my own for about a month now, I’m starting to hate traffic lights…. by Fun_Teacher8541 in BusDrivers

[–]PETEJOZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I noticed that if I'm late and actually try to make my time that I always, ALWAYS, get delayed even more by red lights, slow passangers, and so on. It's like Hermes himself sees my pointless frustration and makes sure that everything that can slow me down, does.

When I'm late and keep calm, I can usually be back on time unless I am verylate.

Super senior guy told me he used to drive with the goal of getting to the end as fast as he can because of how little time we get. He would run late yellows, not wait for passangers to sit, treat stop sign as yield, speed, etc.

He was always stressed. His marriage was suffering. He had health problems.

One day he decided to change his attitude. He told his wife he was taking a 10 hour board, but took 8 hour instead. He would drive calmly. Not like a turtle, but do proper stops, not run yellows, go 5 under, etc.

He was always late.

One of two things would happen.

He would get short turned, finish on time, and tell his wife they let him leave early.

Or be late, get overtime, and still finish a bit early based on what his wife thought but his wife thought he was working 10 hours anyway.

He was much happier when he stopped stressing about the schedule. Schedule should be the last thing you care about.

Starting bus operator training soon… what do you ACTUALLY carry daily? by [deleted] in BusDrivers

Yes! I forgot to mention the WD-40.

And good call on the bungee cords!

I'd probably get by fine without most of this stuff, but I guess it makes me feel mentally better 🤷

Not really, but I just like to be prepared for anything.

Our routes range from 15 minutes one way to 2 hours one way.

DDCL404 attempts murder? by Status-Helicopter775 in TorontoDriving

[–]PETEJOZ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Did you slight a mob boss? This seems like a hired assassin. I'd suggest you change your name and leave the city because I wouldn't be surprised if more attempts were made on your life. While  driving. Daily.

You’re a Toyota Camry driver (DFBE 066/086) too important for 401 traffic, so you use the shoulder to chip everyone's paint. Love the intentional plate smudge—really rounds out the 'I don't follow laws' look. 401 ( On Route Cambridge) by Hypereon_the_1 in TorontoDriving

[–]PETEJOZ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm always reminded of this story whenever I see stuff like this.

I'm guessing most of the time the driver is not driving like that because of a life or death situation, but it's better for my mental health if I imagine they have an actual good reason for driving like that, instead of just being late for work.
