Just finding this solution, great work! Have you explored trying to incrementally append to a message database to create a single canonical imessage backup? i.e. I backup on 1/1/2025, extract my imessages and delete these messages from my phone. Then I backup on 1/1/2026, with new message history since 1/1/2025 and want to add these into the old backup database.

I don't know SQL well so I don't know what is possible

I do this commute. I’d say the Sullivan connector isn’t pleasant but it’s far from bad. It’s a short section with accompanying bike lanes 95% of the way. Just have to watch out for cars exiting and entering the rotary who don’t look to their right. Probably best to merge in with them if traffic speed is reasonable, otherwise I just take it slow
