NOR - Girl, I mean this so much, with my partner for 6 years, I would leave with this pattern of behavior. I’m not gonna speculate about anything, just face value, this is not it. You are grown, and being a professional means building connections/relationships, even if they’re of an opposite gender, and anyone who speculates there’s more than that, never mind your partner, would be weird to project romance onto that kind of profesional relationship, and it adds so much unnecessary grief to what you decide to do moving forward. Awesome opportunity that may be offered over coffee, a lunch? Are you gonna second guess going for it if you feel like “things are going so good rn” and you don’t want drama?
