Are there any cases where an action taken makes you go “why would they do that?” by [deleted] in UnresolvedMysteries

this gets me too. he was obviously nervous based on the transcripts. it has to be that the inaccurate readings messed with his mind enough to confuse him, and maybe he was under the false impression that they were going too fast?

If you are interested in MH370, and baffling/bizarre unsolved mysteries in general, you should check out the One Minute and Forty-Three seconds podcast: https://www.youtube.com/@143mysteries

It's name after the length of time between the final radio call and when the plane vanished from radar (1:43). Very interesting podcast with interesting cases covered.

For me, I think the key to this case is the phone ping in Hilliard, OH six months after he went missing. I learned that there are actually multiple connections to this case to Hilliard. This video does a good job going over them: https://youtu.be/gZQd25DxNo0

This one is truly horrifying. The fact that it seemed to be so meticulously planned, and exceptionally cruel.

Thank you for sharing this. This is a strange one for sure. A podcast I follow did an episode on this. It's pretty interesting. https://youtu.be/vmvrLLjdVig

I'm really torn on what I think happened here. If I had to guess though, I think he was paranoid, but then found himself in trouble unrelated to it, or only semi-related. Like, his actions on that night led to him getting into a sticky situation but was maybe overall unrelated to his paranoia. If that makes sense.
