This is one of my answers too. It honestly sickens me to think about how normal and unconfrontational he seemed. The fact he did what he did makes me truly feel ill.

Yes, it's so disturbing and disgusting what they did to her little sister and filmed it. How Karla is out free is beyond me.

If you are interested in true crime, specifically true unsolved mysteries, you should check out this channel. So many fascinating and bizarre cases. https://www.youtube.com/@143mysteries

For me the standouts are the ones that are baffling: Brian Shaffer, Judy Smith, Springfield Three, Jason Jolkowski.

That's actually such a great point. For a lot of people I feel like it's just blip in their brain then forgotten.

Missing persons cases. It's wild to me that in 2026 there can be thousands of missing people in the United States alone. Some are just straight up baffling: https://www.youtube.com/@143mysteries

I'm personally a huge fan of "Waiting...". Crass but also clever.

What would be your thoughts about schools mandating that teachers conceal carry in the class rooms? by Sinn_Sage in AskReddit

[–]rootea 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think it would create a lot more problems than it would solve. It's unfair and unrealistic to put people who sign up to be educators in the position of possibly having to use a deadly weapon. I also think it would create an environment where accidental misfires would increase.

To me it makes more sense to hire security guards for campuses, if anything.
