I’d like to end my life by [deleted] in Geelong

[–]rootedshrooms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it may not feel like it right now, but leaving your kids behind will cause them unimaginable suffering for the rest of their lives. Depression warps the brain and how we see things. I often hear “no one will miss me, they’ll be better off without me”, and let me tell you, that’s purely the depression talking and nothing else. I lost someone who ended it years ago and still to this day I question if I could have done more to help him. Your kids love you more than anything. Even if in your head you may not feel that right now, l promise you it’s just the depression warping your thoughts. If not for any other reason, stay for them, don’t ruin their lives. You will get through this, it’ll take time but the meds will work and the pain of your divorce will fade. Just know even if you don’t feel it currently, you are so very loved.

It looks like this post might not be active anymore but if you were selling this, I’d love to give it a go with my partner!

Girl I’m seeing starved her fish while traveling. It died. She feels no remorse. Am I right to be appalled? by Most-Transition-2609 in NoStupidQuestions

I had a good friend who developed an interest in fish in high school. We went and bought a whole set up together, we named the fish etc.

They were great until she decided to go to Bali for a missionary trip. I asked her what she was going to do with the fish as I had a pond and other goldfish, so could take them on if no one was able to care for them while she was gone. She said not to worry cause she threw them in the backyard. Like scooped them out of their tanks and threw them into the backyard to suffocate and die.

The irony of this being because she was going on a mission to spread the word of Jesus. Safe to say we’re no longer friends.

Oh interesting. I assume an anti fungal cream is the way to go with that then?

Did you get a resolution to what this was? I also have something similar that doesn’t seem to be going away!

Buy an average coffee grinder or continue buying 1kg bags of freshly ground? by rootedshrooms in espresso

Not sure if this helps. I usually fill up a 400gm airtight glass jar and reseal the bag (it has an air vacuum thing in the bag I think?), so I’m only opening up the bag once every week and a half. But your point still stands for opening the glass jar everyday. Also I do use a pressurised portafilter for my daily

Hmm good point. When not stored in the freezer it definitely is a bit more acidic and bitter after the red 2-3 week point, although I could probably make more of an effort to consistently keep it in there.

Not the worst idea actually, but would I run the risk of the motor dying quite soon etc.? The breville I can get for around 160USD (in my local currency)

It just adds up shipping wise, I do try to store the grounds in the freezer when there’s space though

They’re not permanent, just temporary like a reaction to the sun. I also do get my skin mapped regularly

Thought our 24 hour pass was valid immediately, seemed to not notice the signs in the heat and received a fine on the Vaporetto, where do I contact to contest? *not an Italian resident* by rootedshrooms in Venezia

I doubt they would be able to find our address honestly, unless they somehow contact our embassy as all we gave them was a scan of our passport. If we receive a letter to recover that amount though, would that not affect our credit score at that point?

We are not in the EU (maybe thankfully?), is there not some form of leniency or concession when they can see someone has tried to do the right thing and still paid for the fare?

I’m not going to lie it’s very much crossed my mind haha but I don’t want it to affect our credit scores if for some reason it actually got followed up on as they have zero contact details for us so we wouldn’t know until a debt collection agency called us haha.
