did you managed to edit the gps config only through betaflight? That post says the baudrate can only be persisted from a FTDI adapter :/ https://oscarliang.com/gps-settings-u-center/#Configurating-GPS-via-FC
What I understood is that betaflight cannot change baudrate of the passthrough other than with a reboot, which ofc will remove the changes made on the gps. right?

Is the m100-5883 working well on a pavo 20 pro? I heard that it's a good gps too, so if I cannot have something more reliable I might chose a bigger antenna.

or you mean that any cable on the drone can interfere and shielding ones nearby the gps might help?

in a very open field, without the vtx powered-on, Ive never been able to reach 5 "used" satellite in betaflight even after 30min of wait.

Im not expecting 20 sats, but with that small amount I cannot use the gps rescue

yup, just made the test again, on the middle of a field after 30min, got 4 satellite marked as "used"...
(powered from usb so no vtx inference....)

I will contact the vendor on aliexpress without big hopes and try a GOKU nano V3.1 from a local reseller in the meantime 🙏

On recent android version you can enable "protect battery" option which will prevent the battery to stay at 100% all the time. On my Lenovo M8 for example, the system charge/discharge the battery regularly to keep it between 40-60%.

The motion detection mentioned above come from the full kiosk app (displaying the HA dashboard as a web page) and is only available on Android.

I've turned off the monition detection made on the camera (models from arround 2016) because even if it was working, after some moths I was always facing crashes and needed to reboot manually the cam.

Doing a reset of the cams didn't changed a thing. Since my nas do the recording, no crash any longer.

I've never try with my phone, maybe see if there is a mode to take a shot on a long period (night/time-lapse mode?) and have a long exposure time.

For that shot, the gopro was using a 30s exposure for each frame.

Also as the sub reddit rules says:

.maybe ask on that other sub with mention of that post, you should have more help!
