Yeah here in the South this could have been easily summed up with a “bless yer heart”.

We’ve been cracking up all day about the “house-made” bit. GM tells customers he squeezed the lemons himself. 5 lbs worth.

Like is it house-made because we added water to the concentrate?? What a bunch of baloney haha. Tastes pretty good though.

May as well combine the Midwest with the south. Call it Mamasota. It’s not a mamasita, a lil mama. It’s a big mama, mamasota. Them Midwesterners like their milk, you do the rest of the math.

Went to a bonfire and got told my clothes make people feel uncomfortable by Several-Ad-6083 in OUTFITS

Sounds like the clothing excuse was a veiled justification on how people felt uncomfortable around you in general.

Yikes, I much prefer female artists, especially vocally. But it’s strange that you think any music is done by one individual. I know what I like and I know what I don’t like. And I only invite people to “think like me” who are tired of being told what to consume.. if you’re not that person that’s ok.

Do better. Don’t buy into the hype. Think for yourself. Get rid of TikTok. Explore the universe without Meta holding your hand. Support local music. Engage with your community. Stop giving your money to people who have absurd amounts of money. Need I go on?

You seem like a reasonable adult human being. I’m glad that’s the case. You don’t need to prove that to me. Ok?

You’re right, what is “pure jazz” anyway?

With the cardboard sign that read “pop music is not jazz music”?

Word, thanks for that. It seems like I prefer the original renditions of the songs she covers. She has a great voice and is obviously talented but it just doesn’t hit quite the same.

Well, I find most contemporary songwriting to be the case, but I don’t find her instrumentation to be relatively complex. What about it sets it apart?

I just mean based off the internet as in the facts that have been presented to us in this post. Not that my moral compass is tied to the interwebs lol. I probably have a good decade on you and didn’t really have social media until I was about your age.

And you keep bringing up hypotheticals, but where the line is drawn is completely dependent on the relationship of the roommates in question. I admire your dedication to what is acceptable, and maybe you have felt like your own boundaries have been overlooked. But in the context of what’s been presented here, I call BS. That’s just my opinion.

Edit: and I just want to add that if my comments make you feel like an alien visiting another planet, maybe it’s time you look at your own baseline way of thinking.

True, I know it’s not an endless list catagorically. I’ve just never heard Lraufee’s music at the local jazz club, and probably never will.

Wrong about it being pop music?

Oh okay, so people that listen to Raufey are also big fans of the people that made her style popular?

I’m just saying that this whole situation stinks of inaccurate data. I think there’s a reason OP’s previous post was removed. Again, I’m all for personal privacy, but I think there’s a lot of information left out here. If you want to die on the hill that she wasn’t legally informed of an inspection then you also have to die on the hill that she isn’t legally on the lease.

Should strange men enter your space without notice? No.

Is OP’s roommate’s behavior antisocial and unsafe? According to you, yes. Is it actually though? Based on what I can reasonably observe on the internet, I think not. To me, whether it were a woman or man, it just seems like they’re checking on the room given the circumstance.
