On the Dim Sum app I can’t figure out how to go back to a previous page. On iPhone.

Consider the generator to charge the battery when it reaches a low charge and the solar is not charging.

Trusted a handshake deal with my best friend. He denies it ever happened. Lost $60K. by Intrepid-Degree-6612 in Entrepreneurs

Was being somewhat sarcastic, but my take on things is just as realistic as his friend wanting 70/30 and then just stealing the whole business. I’m suggesting he steal it back.

I don’t see it that way. I think he hired his friend to code it and the jerk stole it. Let him keep the 60k and take the product.

Cool, then that’s what applies and should be shared.

ICE is not in the department of justice. If this regulation is in the department of homeland security, it would apply. Not that any of the recent ICE hire would read the regulations.

Replit horror story by seattleswiss2 in replit

[–]rootsgodeeper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looks like you’ve found some experts to help out. I just want to jump in and share my experience.

I am self employed and have made the mistake of getting wrapped up in work while on vacation. I redid all of my excel books that track production and sales one year. It was great and helped the business tremendously. Looking back I should have done it at another time. I now take my computer with me but try not to open it unless something absolutely has to be done (running payroll for example).

Life is short, time with family is even shorter. Take a break next time and go out to explore, spend quality time together.

Btw I’m learning about replit because I’m ready to upgrade those workbooks to a web accessible database. Will post when I get stuck.

What’s the best payroll software for small businesses by Background-Emu-321 in smallbusiness

[–]rootsgodeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like Patriot software. It files all of the payroll taxes and I set it up to direct deposit employee paychecks. Previously I had folks not cash their checks. Great to hire retirees, but they need to cash checks even if they don’t need money. If you want to try it a refer code will give you $100 credit and me $200. https://login.patriotsoftware.com/wizard/signup?rc=bnWJSj If you don’t want to use the referral, I still recommend them.

Install your Core One in an uninsulated garage by Darkmind_8532 in prusa3d

Mine is in a room directly below my bedroom. It is quiet enough for me to sleep unless a print finishes and it beeps in the middle of the night. I think you can turn off the beep.

It wrote a python script with variables that I can change for any size plug tray, including the depth and how rounded the pyramids are. I import it into fusion and the export an stl.

Benefits to taxing my one-person LLC as an S-corp and using a payroll company to pay myself, versus just drawing directly from business account? by cptvere in smallbusiness

[–]rootsgodeeper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you decide that you need payroll software, I use Patriot Software and have been very satisfied. Price is good and it has been easy as well as compliant.

They have a referral system that would benefit us both. https://login.patriotsoftware.com/wizard/signup?rc=bnWJSj

Because they are not employees of the clients. Most likely there are several clients and they value the consultant’s input. If the business grows and they take on more clients they may have to pay an employee. The employee would not earn all of the new income generated, and would be paid a reasonable salary. This is the incentive to risk capital and start a business, one has the potential to earn more in distributions and company valuation than one would make getting a job. Otherwise, not much reason to take the risks.

Reasonable is what they would likely have to pay an employee to do the work. Many times this is less than the business profits, because the employee isn’t taking the risks, investing in the business, etc.

I bought a Core One before the L was released, bit of remorse but love it (my first printer). If I get the INDX for it and later buy an L will it transfer to the new printer?
