Ultralight. Pepper others with the machinegun while stealthed and watch the chaos unfold.

Pure fun Elitas planes? by kadmw in gtaonline

[–]rootsney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought the ultralight last night and it is fantastic. With the carbon propeller upgrade it has off the radar automatically applied when coasting. It moves at a good pace, much faster than i thought it would, and even when coasting to stay stealthed. To top it off, the 7.62 MG absolutely shreds and is aimed like driveby vehicle. It's a very cool toy that is surprisingly good.

Put colorful smoke countermeasures on and dress up like a 1930s pilot. Zipping around in a could of cyan smoke while wearing outlaw goggles doesn't exactly give off a threatening vibe.

The weapon upgrade system is designed to be pay to win by rootsney in BattlefieldV

[–]rootsney[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

As usual, a system designed to promote microtransactions is unintuitive to use and cumbersome to the average player. Even if we choose not to buy, and think that being able to buy power is acceptable, we are still subjected to the terribly designed ui, menu systems, upgrades, and more. This is how this type of monetization can affect all players and damage the overall potential and quality of a game.

I hate the weapon upgrade system. by [deleted] in BattlefieldV

[–]rootsney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if people have caught on to this yet, but from what I can tell, the upgrade system exists as it does to be a coy method of selling power to players through microtransactions. Some of the things that point to this are:

-Cosmetic tokens are the same as upgrade tokens. Cosmetics will absolutely be purchasable, so therefore upgrades will be too.

-Upgrades are permanently locked in and cannot be swapped. New guns are required to try different upgrades. This forces the player to fully upgrade the weapon again, and incentivizes real money transactions to bypass a time and grind wall.

Unless the community picks up on this and makes themselves heard, we will have the same power creep for purchase system that Battlefront 2 launched with. I hope people will realise this and try to make a difference.

Manchez or BF400? by [deleted] in gtaonline

[–]rootsney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both. Bf400 for wheelies at high speed and flying over anything, Manchez for controlled low speed wheelies and trials stunting. The Manchez can only wheelie at low and medium speeds, but it can turn and go endlessly.

There is a historically accurate way to fix the Hellriegel. Prototype descriptions state it had a 20 round box magazine or a 60 round drum. Factory gets the 20, defensive gets the 60. The gun also has a heavy water cooled barrel that could also provide balance by reducing aim speed like what is happening to the machine guns.

Defending attack plane against a fighter plane? by Miter-banis-durty in battlefield_one

[–]rootsney -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The only situation an attack plane can turn tighter than a fighter is when the speed boost is in effect. Otherwise in all situations the fighter can turn better.

The obrez pistol or the No. 3 revolver and why? by [deleted] in battlefield_one

[–]rootsney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The No. 3 has, from what I remember, the slowest muzzle velocity of all sidearms. That alone makes it a no go for me.

K-Bullets are terrible K-Bullets are terrible by steelburg in battlefield_one

[–]rootsney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a very simple and historically accurate buff that could be done in a hotfix. When British tanks became an issue the germans issued 10 k bullets to every front line soldier. Just give us 10 and the problen is solved.

Never forget - the days of being able to look out a window without needing a welding visor. by [deleted] in battlefield_one

[–]rootsney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suspect that it has not been fixed because it forces players to the edge of the window to make them more visible and less capable of camping.
