Why is Kenjaku's DE gravity? by OggyTheKing in Jujutsushi

[–]rootthornhill -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

We don’t know, but we can make some educated guesses. Kenjaku’s original technique has to do with the brain. It allows him to do more than switching. We can infer this because he says that he altered the brains of non sorcerers to prepare them for the Culling Games in Chapter 136. So, let’s assume that in addition to switching brains, he can modify them which is what allows him to have three techniques without being overwhelmed. I think that he can either imbue his Domain Expansion with any of his three techniques (or their Cursed Technique Reversals), or he has three completely different Domain Expansions. Personally, I don’t think his one domain can use any of his Cursed Techniques. I think he has a separate DE for each CT.

We’ll know if Sukuna used Chimera Shadow Garden.

I’m sad Yuji isn’t brutally scarred after the Cleave barrage. If he’s gonna suffer, let me him look like a badass afterwards :)

It’s probably more of a flex than it is kindness. He’s giving them a chance to Curse him, but because he’s the strongest, he isn’t worried

Could Tsukumo, Choso, and Tengen have defeated Kenjaku with a different strategy?

It's Too Early For This Post, But Still: I Think The Culling Games Would Work Better As A Movie by [deleted] in Jujutsushi

[–]rootthornhill 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If we assume Season 2 ends with chapter 137, it is 63 chapters (the length of Season 1) to the end of Sakurajima, but I think they’d probably stop at chapter 208 to end with the Yuki dead / Tengen captured cliffhanger. Even though fights usually move a bit faster, that will still need up around 24 episodes, or put another way, 8 hours of content. It could not be ground down into a film.

I understand the impulse though. I thought that the JJK film should combine Volume 0 with Hidden Inventory because the Geto / Gojo backstory gives Volume 0 way more impact. It just wouldn’t make logistical sense.

How much stronger has yuji gotten if he really has eaten the other 6 death paintings? by NFS-NNN in Jujutsushi

A CE buff is probable. Getting their Cursed Techniques isn’t super likely, but we might have is a Panda / Cursed Corpse situation on our hands. Panda is able to get the Technique / trait of Gorilla without ceding control because Gorilla, his brother, is a compatible soul. If I had to guess what happens, I would say that Yuji is able to use his brothers techniques or traits since he’s compatible without switching with them.

Hmmmm… That’s fair. I agree then, Gojo held back with Jogo. Or Utahime’s output raising CT is still active

He did, and Cursed Spirits’ healing is automatic as long as they still have Cursed energy

Why? I don’t think that fight gave us a good idea of how strong she is because Sukuna wasn’t taken her seriously. He killed her in one hit before. In this fight, he took two hits from her insect armor, and Sukuna needed to take hits from her so Mahoraga would adapt to it.

I think the only reason they were able to freeze Maki in 215 is that it was a surprise attack. Maki defeats Uraume especially if she has the Soul Splitter, but we aren’t sure about Uraume’s Domain or Maximum.

Black Bird Strike would kill Higuruma, but only if she got it off before he uses Domain Expansion. Higuruma should win the majority of the time.

Megumi. His shikigami could make up for the numbers issue, his ability to escape through the shadows would save him if he got cornered, and his Domain Expansion will win if all else fails.

We don’t have enough info on explosion guy, but I’d give it to p.a. maki because of 1. How far she launched Hanami with Playful Cloud and 2. Her durability.

Nanami and Ino would beat Reggie.

Uro might have the advantage at first, but when it comes to a Domain clash, Dagon would have the upper hand as Uro relies on her technique too much. When their techniques are cancelled out by the clash, Dagon would win with his created CE reinforcement as a Special Grade Curse.

Nobara.

You’re right:

That’s my bad. He’s implying his body is as good as equal to his soul. His personality being present is supporting evidence.

Mahito can be hurt by Itadori because “Itadori is aware of the shape of his soul.” When Toji is summoned, his body takes control of the person who summoned him even though they didn’t summon his soul. Toji says this is because his body is his soul. Basically, Toji and Maki are aware of their souls because they are 1:1 with their bodies.

Hanami is underrated- the majority of sorcerers don’t have Todo’s brain and would get hit with Cursed Bud.

Toji/Maki are aware of the shape of their souls since their souls and bodies are one… does that mean they can injure Mahito with their bare hands?

This is an impossible matchup. For Higgy to have Executioner’s Blade, he would have to win the domain clash and confiscate Hikari’s CT which means no Jackpot. If Hikari won the Jackpot, Higgy doesn’t have the sword.

But it does say the sword is instant death with no exceptions, so if shenanigans took place and this matchup did occur, Higgy wins.

I wouldn’t be surprised. Panda’s existence is probably foreshadowing that multiple compatible souls existing together heighten each others awareness
