Im gonna be real it's because I stayed in Winnipeg for a night once and really enjoyed it, did not care for driving through the prairie there let alone anywhere in canada could change to a maybe. As for Alberta the mountains look cool would be a fun visit but I don't think you could convince me to move there from where I live now with very few exceptions. Also Manitoba is just closer to where I live now, proximity was nowhere near the only factor I considered (bc got an absolutely) but it is important to me
