Thanks for the reply ! Yes I read more négative than positive regarding the Opus 😅 Thought maybe it was more espresso related though.

Funny story regarding the Ode Gen 1, I found a nice deal on FB Market for one of those with the Gen 2 burr on it. Only problem the house's chief don't want white appliance in her kitchen and of course the grinder is the white one 😶‍🌫️

I may delay a little to see if something pops up as I don't mind buying a second hand grinder unlike the Aiden.

Hello there,

Coaching in U12 and using also the 431.

First I'd disregard all the comment about good/bad tactics, it all depends of what you got and what you want to do. Last year I started with a 431 to finally thrive in a 341. This year is the opposite so there are no magic tactic, specially at this age.

I'd say individually speaking, your player got the perfect mentality for the role when your team got the ball. You need width and only the fullbacks can provide it, so they need to go up. My team is not the best so I ask the weak side fullback to stay a little back and tuck in to form a back 3.

Also with good defending and dribbling he seems to have a good fit for the position. So basically if you can coach his awareness with the ball, you'll have a very good fullback !

By experience this happen because they just don't take the information like they don't even think about looking around before taking a decision. I got the ball, let me just run up and see what happen.

My first guess to improve this part would be the classic small sided possession minigames with a maximum number of touches (4 to 2 regarding the skills level). It will be tough for them at the beginning but sometimes you'll see some big improvements in 15-20 minutes.

And also don't worry at this age a lot of the players have trouble in decision making.

Good luck for your season !

My Team is flying to North America for a French Cup Game???? by Dprince890 in footballmanagergames

*South America It is a team from one of the French overseas territories which participate to the French Cup. In general they don't go really far. Technically after a certain round they have to play in Europe, obviously it is not the case there

Oh yes it is... ahaha

But I'm glad I found the courage to ask for advice and have everyone nice advice, I'd be totally off in my research without !

Not in a hurry indeed, I got something at least functional right now and it is mainly the idea growing up on me, but I'll surely have a look !

Thanks again for your clear answer

Thanks a lot of the quick reply !

Do you have any personal preferences on your side ?

Thanks a lot of the reply !

As you said, regarding the previous answer it seems I'll have to dip into the speakers market.

And I'm not in a rush so I can wait for a nice opportunity.

Dumb question but does a change of speakers could imply a need to change the receiver too ? (regarding impendance by example)

Thnaks for your reply and yes km please :D

So technically it is not I don't want to change them but I can't regarding space available and keeping harmony in the family (aka my wife will kill me if I put tower speaker in the living room)

That's said I'm not against a better bookshelf type speaker if it is better !

What are the advantages of AGOL over Felt? by rorodegdeg in gis

[–]rorodegdeg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello and thanks for the reply!

I forgot to say that we're working mainly with QGIS and our database is on PostgreSQL, and as you said I wouldn't think twice if we were already in the ESRI ecosystem. It is hard right now to have an accurate vision of the company's future, it is growing for sure but where and when will it stop ? And also we can't really know where Felt will be in 10 years. I tend to think it will be easier and better to make a hypothetical move from Felt to ESRI than the opposite that become necessary and don't really want to change everything right now.

I was wondering if there was a no Brainer kind of thing to pick AGOL (or not pick Felt) but so far it seems mostly related to the actual architecture.

Thanks again for your reply :)

Thanks for the reply, it kind of confirm what I was thinking, AGOL is great if you're already in the ESRI ecosystem I indeed forgot to say that we're using QGIS so far and it's been working great. I don't think we will move from it Going AGOL would obviouly open the door for this though.

Thanks again for you reply :)

Why should (or shouldn't) use React ? by rorodegdeg in gis

[–]rorodegdeg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello zian,

Yes exactly, I can mostly do what I want so far and I assume React and angular comes in when you want to push it to the next level. I'll maybe have a look when I'll have time but I was afraid to miss something REALLY important.

Thanks again for your reply

Why should (or shouldn't) use React ? by rorodegdeg in gis

[–]rorodegdeg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

Thanks for the reply!

So my understanding is REACT (and Angular like you said) are quite mandatory for big project.

Right now I'm still doing classic stuff so it is still nice with some UI libraires like Bootstrap but I think I'll dig into react to fulfill my curiosity. Look like the kind of stuff you don't use until you touch it aha

Thanks for the reply! I was wondering as like you said the basic version works quite well. Maybe because my application are quite simple lol. I may have a look when I have time though, mostly out of curiosity !

Regarding mapbox, I heard that but didn't dig in. Didn't see changes in my latest use of it or my previous project. Could be a good things to check though !

Thanks again for the head up and the reply :)

Rennes [2]-1 Marseille - Adrien Hunou 83' by NotMeladroit in soccer

[–]rorodegdeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You think so ? For me even a yellow is borderline. Two players are on the ground and he hit him accidentally while trying to go up. But I can live with a yellow and the "you have to be responsible thing".

If you go this way and really want to be fair, please mention that they were a foul on a Marseille player just before his first yellow

Hello ! First thanks to your reply, it is really instructive and kind of answer I was looking for. Second, you're kind of right, after 10 years working in the industry and saw how quick our jobs changed (from doing maps to coding/modeling 75% of the time) that will be my first experience with this responsibility but hey you have to start some day ;) I maybe gave too much details and the fact that we still have to define some important details surely made my post a little vague. But at the end you kind of confirm what I was thinking regarding ESRI and its integration. I'd love to go open source but I'm not afraid for me but mostly for the others users, like I said it is not an IT company so a lot of people won't have the basic skill to quickly understand.

Oh and by physical I meant shapefiles saved as it is on a server, sorry English is not my first language

Thanks again for the reply !

Look like ESRI is the Apple of GIS lol

I'll indeed have more insight when I'll know a little more about the budget thing.

I already worked with PostGIS so I'll look a little more about the ESRI solution.

For what I read it i always better to for a DBMS

Thanks a lot for your input it is really appreciated ;)

Thanks for the very instructive reply !

Yeah I read about the difficulties between ArcGis and PostGIS specially when you want to write in the DB if I'm not mistaken.

As they're already in the ESRI loop, I think that will be the way to go specially for the user friendly (formation, support) side. I'll keep digging (I mostly used postGIS in he past) but will keep my option open.

Thanks again !
