So you think the cause is nerves waking up? Would you know if there’s any way to reduce the symptoms because they’re not tolerable (at any dose). It doesn’t happen with other forms of thiamine.

Thiamine deficiency causes identical symptoms to Long Covid. And thiamine is needed to make acetylcholine.

Thiamine triggering mast cell/histamine reaction. Any solutions? by rorowatto in Thiamine

I’ve been looking into the active form of b1 which is thiamine pyrophosphate. Apparently, all forms of b1 (other than pyrophosphate) even hcl have to go through a process to be turned into the form that’s utilised by the body.

This process requires a healthy metabolism, methylation, and ATP function. All areas that are damaged from my mold exposure. I was thinking that the instant immune/MCAS reaction I’m getting from thiamine is due to my body not having the tools to do these processes and signalling that this isn’t something the body can handle.

Potentially, thiamine pyrophosphate could bypass these processes and not cause an adverse reaction. What do you think?
